We LOVED Finca Isolina. It's such a perfect location, everything is very close by, but it's such a peaceful and calming location. It beats every hotel on the island. The owner Marco, is the kindest, most genuine sweet person - he's been so great to us, so hospitable and caring, that we are still in awe of our time there.
We honestly couldn't have had a better time in our dreams! The hotel itself is beautiful, sustainable and very authentic. The outside spaces are filled with life and amazing views all around. The breakfast is something else. All food is fresh, locally sourced and delicious, so gorgeously prepared, tasteful and vibrant. I could talk about the food all day long! Every breakfast we've had was filled with fresh fruit, vegetables, cheese, honey - our skin started glowing on the second day there. Every day we got something different and all our wishes came to life.
We got engaged on this trip, and Marco has made all the effort to show us a good time! It was truly a dream come true. We've gotten great recommendations from him about hidden gems to see and experience and it's made all the difference to us. We had a personalised service with the best hospitality we've encountered in all of Europe.
All of the staff is very accommodating, friendly and respectful and everyone really wants you to have the best time.
I could not recommend this place more. We're looking forward to coming back!

It is very peaceful place, perfect to relax.
Location is very convinient: in the middle of the island- 30 minutes drive to Playa Papagayo or to Mirador del Rio.
Whenether you want to go you will get there quickly.

A lovely town with everything you need accessible. It was more remote and away from the tourist places like Puerta del Carmen and Playa Blanca. There is a beautiful marine with restaurants nearby, which I would highly recommend. We would definitely stay here again.

Macher is well placed if you want some peace and quiet but...
Macher is well placed if you want some peace and quiet but handy for visiting Puerto del Carmen & Puerto Calero as well being central for trips to the rest of the island. About a mile away is the lovely coast path between the two above resorts which are also linked by a regular boat service. There is also a lovely local tapas bar in the next village.
The villa itself was lovely. The pool and jacuzzi were fantastic and the kitchen was wonderful. The villa is really well situated, and it was easy to get around the island while being a short walk into Puerto del Carmen.
Our hosts were incredibly gracious and provided lots of very useful information about the area, as well as very clear information about arrivals.

I wanted a place closer to the airport for a morning flight the following day. This was exactly that.

The room was quiet, even with planes flying overhead.

10 minutes walk to the bus which would take you directly to the airport.
This property had absolutely everything we needed for a relaxing family holiday. No 34 bus at end of the lane 20 metres. €1.40 to go to Puerto del Carmen.... sunsets were stunning. So clean. Outside bbq. Definitely be back. Thank you, jacqui and antoinette. Local taxi is available also. Loved it. 😍 💯
