House was very spacious, very clean and equipped with host of modern appliances. The fridge/freezer was your standard large one and the oven/hob was big so very easy to store food and cook meals. . . . . . Pool area also spacious with pool quite big and steps into it (not the metal ladder you get some places) so good for kids, and the doors out to the pool area you could lock so peace of mind in the house when not using it - we did get the pool heated at extra cost which would recommend. . . . Outdoor area big and great for having meals watching out on the blue sky and ocean

Amazing hotel, spacious rooms, friendly stuff, great breakfasts and exceptional dinners!
Recommend going full board only because of the dinners. Chefs do a great job of preparing fish and meat fresh in front of the guests to your liking. Amazing experience all together. Will be recommending this hotel further :)

The food was amazing with lots of variety, and everything was nice and clean. They also had fun daily classes and events, so there was always something to do.

The staff were really helpful, especially when we had to find alternative accommodation at very short notice the night we arrived. . The receptionist couldn't do enough to help and even helped us to our rooms.
When we arrived we were the only people there as they have recently opened so the restaurant and shop weren't open yet but it was lovely and peaceful and we had the pool to ourselves!
We had a disabled person with us, and there are plenty of ramps and even a stairlift for wheelchairs to the car park, which also has plenty of disabled parking.
The bus stops right outside and is only 1.40 euros no matter how many stops and we used it a lot to go to the Rubicon marina and to Playa Blanca beach.
There are some shops and bars near the hotel , which were handy to get to for essentials or a meal.
This luxury hotel in Puerto Calero is 13 km from Lanzarote Airport.

Been before when it was the Hisperia and loved it then. Prices are a bit expensive for what you get. We paid extra to be preferred all inclusive just because we wanted to use the pool that was inclusive of this. Room was ok it was clean but should be more luxuruies for what you spend to stay.
H10 Rubicón Palace is set in white-washed buildings around a lagoon-style pool in the Lanzarote fishing village of Playa Blanca.

All inclusive is very good. Stayed 7 nights and we're very happy we chose this hotel. It was more than we expected, all the buildings and grounds were beautiful, the rooms spacious with massive beds. Food was very nice, didn't get sick of it despite eating there every day at least twice a day. A la carte restaurants are great too. All inclusive was extensive in its options, nearly everything was included. The two resident hedgehogs were very cute too. Cats and birds and tortoises and fish all to be found on the resort too!

We liked our large modern room.
The pool area was immaculate and was very peaceful and ideal for a lazy day at the pool. There were always plenty of sunbeds

As we wanted an extended stay and we like to explore, we had decided to hire a car for the duration of our trip. This meant that we could choose somewhere outwith the main resorts that would be more peaceful.
We have previously stayed in Puerto Del Carmen, Playa de los Pocillos, Costa Teguise and Matagorda.
We chose Las Brenas this time because we were attracted to the accommodation for its privacy, private patio and plunge pool and we were not disappointed.
The views from Las Brenas are great as its above Playa Blanca. Its a very quiet peaceful area. As far as we could see, there is only 1 restaurant in the village- we never visited so cannot comment on it.
There are no shops in the area, none that we could find anyway. Playa Blanca is the nearest resort.
Public transport wise, the village is very poorly served - at time of writing there is only 1bus per day from Playa Blanca going through Las Brenas around 3.00p.m. There are plenty of taxis in PB however, we never used them so cannot say how much it would cost if you wanted to have a drink for instance.
Having car is necessity to stay there but that does mean you can go where you like, when you like. Some things we would recommend:
Eating at Royal China Wok in Playa Blanca - opposite church in square. It doesn't look much on outside and it rarely gets mentioned on fbk pages but it is a wee gem.
If you want to exchange or buy used English language books of all kinds there is a Book Swap in Playa Blanca up the side of Rustica.
The Sunday Market in Teguise is worth a visit - starrs around 10. Always quite bust but buzzing. 2 euros to park unless you find on-street parking.
Well worth visit to Johnnie Bakes at top of Teguise - proper home baking with hot drinks or juice- wee rest after busy Market!
