House is really well appointed, comfortable and looks as per the updated photos. The pool is private and the area is quiet and peaceful. After comms with the owner we were satisfied the pool would be heated (with the additional payment upon arrival).

The villa was a dream. It seems to be relatively new. It is perfectly equipped, especially the kitchen. The terrace as well as the roof terrace and the large window front offer spectacular views of the surroundings. We have never had a holiday in such a quiet area. The size of the pool was very comfortable for swimming.
In short, everything was perfect and we would love to come back.
The property is in Villa Verde, not La Oliva (the town).
The property is in Villa Verde, not La Oliva (the town). I got off the bus in La Oliva and ended up walking 4km with my luggage! It's my own fault for not checking. Plenty of restaurants nearby, not a lot of bars, but I wasn't looking for that. Views of Lanzarote from Fuerteventura are spectacular.

This property was a great last minute find.
This property was a great last minute find. I booked it Saturday morning, and arrived Saturday afternoon! Very central and convenient location nestled in amongst the volcanoes in the area, beautiful landscape, really close to El Cotillo and Corralejo, and a great 'base' to explore from.
The property's immaculate and the hosts are just wonderful and friendly. I felt at 'home', and very comfortable as a solo traveler. I didn't eat out - there were kitchen facilities so I saved money by bringing food supplies in, so I could spend money on fun adventures.
From 'here', I discovered Los Molinos, a tiny little ocean front beach community only about 25-30 mins drive from Villaverde (where the property is), and it became my favorite beach (until I found the sand dunes national park which is literally directly east of the property!). All up, the apartment has everything you need, and is in a great location to have fun from!

La Oliva is a lovely quiet location to relax in but should you require something lively it is within reach - just a bus ride or a 15 minute drive away. This also applies to beaches - which are absolutely stunning with little inlets all along the coast and the sand is so white and soft. I stayed in Villaverde which has numerous restaurants with one or two arguably the best on the island. The capital of Puerta la Rosario is a bus ride away or a twenty five minute drive away and retains a true Spanish/Canarian atmosphere with lots of shopping and again restaurants. The Canadians like their food and I love it too.

Tamaragua is a complex that has never been used due to high rents so most of it is abandoned, so bus ride to any shopping centres Full of ex pats so a lot of English spoken and friendly people
Cassa pablo is the only bar /restaurant basic but it’s is clean, value for money ,plenty of choice on the menu
Busses every hour to corellejo and the beach
Local supermarket and pizza house
Beautiful accommodation with lovely surrounds in a quiet area on the outskirts of La Oliva. Everything you could need in the property - comfy bed, small but perfectly usable kitchen, nice size bathroom, decent WiFi. One of the owners greeted us and showed us around, after which they were hardly seen despite living just next-door - always there if anything went wrong, but not intrusive at all. Property is in a quiet area but a short walk or even shorter drive to some excellent restaurants, and a good sized supermarket. Perfect!
Maria is the sweetest hostess and she made sure we would feel comfortable and enjoy our stay. We’ve got a small but cosy studio (showe and kitchenette). Really loved our garden! La Oliva is good if you want to explore the north of the island, also it didn’t look very popular with the tourists so we really enjoyed the local vibe (but we prefer rural places rather than touristic). The house is a short walk from the town centre, so it’s perfect to have breakfast out and some bits shopping.
Absolutely amazing traditional accommodation in very nice rural area of La Oliva. We were very big group of family members and friends and we absolutely happy. All requests sorted very quickly. Very highly recommended to everyone who wish to rest in nice quiet location with local vibes.
Everything was clean, the house is spacious and the backyard is big. The swimming pool is awesome. Way better privacy than any hotel.
All required amenities are present, washing machine, coffee machine, toaster, kettle, pots, microwave, oven and hobs.
Spacious accommodation for two. I liked the enclosed patio, with afternoon sun.
Parking right next to the property.
Location in La Oliva is great to explore the island from.
Basic supermarket nearby (short walk).
