25 minutes from Ferry Port, and beautifully located in lush trees and greenery.... yet really easy to locate
The food was excellent, tapas great selection, good beer, and all at a very fair price!
The hotel decor is exquisite, and immaculately clean. The staff well trained, friendly and well dressed (all except the boss, who wanders around in old jeans and a t-shirt!!).
Large room, comfy (& large) beds, hot water, air-con.... it all worked as it should.... and the largest, softest, towels ever!!
This 17th-century palace offers wonderful views in a a quiet, natural setting. It is situated 12 km from the centre of Bilbao, 5 km from Bilbao Sondika Airport.

it is probably past its heyday, but the building is beautiful, the staff is nice, the breakfast is fabulous, the beds are very comfortable, bathroom is spacious. It was not clear that it is a golf hotel - guests can borrow clubs for free (it's a pity that this is not mentioned in advance), the pool is nice, warm and clean water.
The Hotel Matsa B&B is a former wine press in the countryside just outside Bilbao. There is free Wi-Fi and free onsite parking. The rooms are all individually decorated in a rural style.

Beautiful property and surroundings. You feel like you are way out in the countryside, but you’re actually only about 1 km. from a town. The room was lovely and clean. Breakfast was reasonably priced and delicious and the staff were very friendly.

This place is a gem. The rooms are great with the opportunity to use the pool and sauna, and the food was amazing (best we have had this trip). The owners also kindly picked us up from the Camino and dropped us back on the trail the next day. Would highly recommend a stay here if you have the opportunity..
