Charco del Palo Bungalows, hotel in Charco del Palo

Facing the seafront in Charco del Palo, Charco del Palo Bungalows is a holiday home, boasting a year-round outdoor pool and parking on-site.

Small complex in Charco del Palo Naturist Village with 9 apartments in 3 blocks of three, none of the apartments directly overlooked anyone. Well kept gardens and swimming pool which was cleaned very regularly. One restaurant opposite the complex, another small restaurant and tapas bar in the commercial centre. A small but well stocked supermarket. The apartment has two sun terraces, one front, one back. There are 2 sun loungers on each patio/terrace area and a small table and chairs on each too. The front of the apartment overlooks the swimming pool and the back overlooked an area with cactus. Easy walking access to the cliff tops. 2 safe areas for sea swimming/bathing and swimming in a sea cove - but you do need to be a swimmer for the latter as you go straight into very deep but clear water. The whole village area is very quiet. Great for a quiet relaxing holiday.

Beautiful naturist town and the end of a wild and winding road (past the Cactus Garden which is a must-visit). It’s a quiet place so if you’re planning on clubbing, think again. Charco means “cove” apparently and there are three super coves to swim in and sunbathe, one a natural volcanic pier is a quite exciting dip if the waves are up. Locals and visitors alike are very friendly and the food in the two restaurants and two pubs is good with a choice from easy-going tapas to a slightly fancier bistro feel. The local supermarket is good if you want to cook in. If you like a hike (naked or otherwise) there are trails both north and south on the cliff coast - wear sturdy footwear. Lovely spot, we’ll be back.

The resort is clothes optional and so you can walk around the resort as you wish only dressing for the shop. Lots of walks although the coast is rugged and hard under foot. There are three restaurants plus a Tapas bar which is open all day and into the evening. The shop is limited especially with fresh produce but there is enough choice to get you through. The open sea can be reached in a few places and there are two sea water swimming pools one man made and the other natural which fill up at high tide. This is a very friendly resort, a typical Spanish out of the way village, it could do with a little TLC in places but a place that once visited never forgotten and one to welcome you back

Charco del Palo is a very quiet, naturist village and it is very nice to go for walks and swims without clothes. The atmosphere in the village is very nice with friendliness and courtesy being clearly evident. There are three restaurants/bars of varying quality, our favourite was La Tropicana where you can get a delicious barbecued steak. The small supermarket is very well stocked. There is an excellent restaurant in Mala which is at the top of the road which leads down to Charco. There are also many restaurants in Costa Teguise which is about a 15 min drive from Charco.

    Nice, friendly naturist resort.

Nice, friendly naturist resort. Good long beach walks north and south. Good swimming in the tidal pool. Small onsite supermarket is well stocked, good value, and the staff are very friendly. Didn't use restaurants in the evenings as they were clothed.

Lovely small and quiet naturist village.

Lovely small and quiet naturist village. If you want a nice and quiet relaxing vacation whilst having the opportunity to acquire an all over tan, then I would recommend Charco del Palo. If you are a foody person, then I would recommend Tapas Bar La plazita when they are open. Also they seem to put on live music on a Friday. Staff are lovely too. The supermarket is fairly overpriced, but that is expected for a small village in the middle of nowhere. However the staff are nice and friendly and they do stock enough ingredients for cooking some nice and easy Italian meals. 3 Euros for a pint which is also good, the 2 local beach spots are nice as well. I would definitely look into returning to Charco del Palo in the near future.

Charco del palo is a really lovely village.

Charco del palo is a really lovely village. It is nice and quiet and has a small supermarket for items you may need. It is a short walk to the sea then you can decide on the man made pool or the natural pool which both fill up with the incoming tide. Both have plenty of sun bathing areas. This place is truly amazing and it's a naturist village and you can go anywhere apart from the supermarket nude but it is not obligatory (if you get in your car or a towel on the seat to stop anything burning lol). You can walk along the coast for a good mile or more in both directionsand there are places to sunbath there too, but it is also perfect for some trail running (but do take water with you). If you haven't been before this is a place to go to. The village does have a restaurant but you have to book, it also has naturist Thursday where you can choose to eat au natural. (Take your own towel to sit on if you do)

Our first time to Lanzarote and a fully naturist vacation. Absolutely delighted with the location, facilities and friendliness of Simone, her staff and other guests at the apartments. Great location for exploring especially the north of Lanzarote. A fantastic relaxing time in a lovely peaceful location. A joy to be nude whenever you wanted to be and the weather was great, so that meant most of time! We can't wait to get back to these apartments at Charco del Palo once again.

This is a perfect location for a stay in Charco Del Palo. The house is well situated for getting to the beach pools, supermarket and restaurant in the village. The pool is cleaned daily and gardeners are regular. The house is fantastic, kitchen is the perfect size for 2/4 people, with a downstairs toilet and a bath/shower upstairs with his and hers sinks. This is our 2nd time staying here Aug/Sept and have already booked for next year.

Property was great value for money but immaculate, all facilities were brand new. The manager of the apartments was hospitable and warm, invited me for breakfast at the luxury hotel they have in the nearby town and told me the most fascinating history of the property and of western Lanzarote. Would stay again without hesitation.

Excellent communication with host. The place is big - 2 separate bedrooms, 2 separate bathrooms, 2 seating areas outside. Did not spend much time inside, except to press fresh juice. Key pickup & drop-off in key box. Private parking space, very handy - one needs a car in Charco del Palo !

Very clean place. Close to everything. Very satisfied, will definitely come back Very important to note that Charco del Palo is a naturist village, but not only for naturists. No one judged us for wearing clothes.
