Large facility with beautiful outdoor area, including trampoline and play area for children. Close to the Camino de Santiago so a welcome respite after a long day. The staff was very helpful and allowed us to check in early.

The staff is very helpful and friendly. The front desk lady works incredibly hard. She checked us in, made sure someone carried our bags up the stairs for us, then served us a late night dinner at the restaurant (which was very good), and then woke up early to shuttle our friend to the airport.

The Hotel is rated as one star.
I had a warm welcome from one of the ladies and as requested they gave me a ground floor room.
It was spotlessly clean, large bathroom with granules and shower chair.
Yes it's dated but it's in the traditional Spanish Styke of dark wood and floral bedding. Pillows were very comfortable.
There was a washing machine and dryer if you need to wash clothes as the hotel is used by a lot of pilgrims on the Camino De Santiago.
That said there were plenty of local people in to eat so that tells me it's well regarded locally.
I enjoyed free tapas at 6pm and then munched my way through a rather large racione of serrano ham with free bread. A glass or two of wine :-) and then a sleep before flying.
The staff in the diner were efficient, friendly and helpful.
All rooms at Hotel Amenal include free Wi-Fi access. It is located just 5 km from Santiago de Compostela Airport, on the French Route of the St. James’s Way.

The place is in a quiet area and directly on the camino to Santiago de Compostella. This is tobe reached by car within 15 minutes. Feom here we also visited Coruna and Lugo. We did not have time anough for Ourense. Walking the area is very nice.
A nice village in the area for drinks, food and a shop is Pedrouzo.
Here a lot of walkers to Santiago pass.
