The hotel and staff were really helpful letting us keep our bikes in the basement. Breakfast was good value and you could have as much as you wanted. Location was near enough to the town centre to walk to but far enough out to be quiet.

Both staff were very helpful, providing access to the garage and help in getting out the next day, a fellow guest with a van had reduced exit access and it needed two to get the motorbike out.
The foyer is like stepping back into a hotel from the fifties, with beautiful doors and porch. The rooms are simple but clean and the beds very comfortable. The hotel is a short walk to a thing in town! Would recommend

Very well equipped and clean albergue. Good beds, warm blankets, good bathrooms and facilities, kitchen, heating .. all good! I recommend this albergue.
Paco, the owner who also runs the neighboring bar, was very helpful and friendly :-)
Lovely atmosphere. It's a smaller cosier parador than we have stayed in before. We had the superior room which was very comfortable and the bathroom was gorgeous with a terrace by the pool. What was good about the location is its a five minutes flat walk to nearby bars and restaurants so you are not tied to the hotel restaurant. We would definitely return here if we found ourselves in the area
we had a lovely room overlooking the town. the hotel is beautifully sited high on a spur. the walk to. the town was much easier than we anticipated. There are historic buildings of interest in the town, sometimes obscured by dilapidation - there are clear signs of poverty, but the town is lively, many locals using the cafes and shops. a very safe environment.
Very nice hosts and a quiet and interesting house. The room was large and well fitted in an old stle that is rare to find these days, beautifully done by the owners. The hostess was very friendly and obliging as always (our 3rd or 4th stay - all equally good. Benavente is large enough to still be lively and open in November, unlike town on the pilgrim route.
Excellent stay as an alternative to Benavente.
The owners couldn't be more friendly and helpful.
Provided safe storage for bicycle and accommodated collection of bags by courier for onward travel on Via de la Plata.
Excellent value dinner and breakfast.
Particularly good value for solo traveller.
There is a well stocked shop in the village.
This was a late booking for an overnight stopover on the way to Porto. We didn't know anything about this small town but obviously other travellers did as there were plenty of them!
Lovely hotel with a friendly welcome and easy on-street free parking. Easy walk into the town centre.
For us on this occasion it was excellent value for money.
I liked the location where the staff was nice and we really liked that we had a private parking which we could walk straight from the room down to the garage. We could have a drink in the bar, and it was only 7 min drive to Benavente where there are plenty of restaurants to choose from.
This is a simple hotel, but right in the middle of town so very easy for the bars and restaurants. The owner was very kind and let me put the motorbike in his locked garage.
I guess if you go to Benevente for the Bull running festival, this would be a superb base.
Nothing
I had no WiFi or data and arrived to find the hostal locked with a phone number to ring which didn't work.
After eventually finding a cafe with wifi I was told to ho across town to another hotel to get the key - I stayed at the other hotel.
