The staff were polite and very helpful. The room was exceptional. The food was good. We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and the staff gave us a bottle of Cava and some chocolate hearts. This was a lovely touch and much appreciated. Thankyou.

Located in Gandía, 36 km from Denia Bus Station, Hotel Boutique Moli El Canyisset provides accommodation with an outdoor swimming pool, free private parking, a garden and a shared lounge.

Hotel Moli El Canyisset is a beautiful retreat in a wonderful region of Gandia. Located in the the middle of orange and mandarine fields, the hotel provides a peaceful getaway in greenery with a extremely well mainted pool. The hotel itself is a gem, an old mill restored into a cozy stay with a garden of olive trees and Mediterranean flora. The owners are very friendly and pleasant people who made us feel like at home. The room was spacious, retro furniture, with a very nice balcony.

Bellreguart is divided into two parts the town and beach (playa). Bellreguard playa visited at the end of May so only a few restaurants and bars open along the beachfront. Tried a few of these - good value food well cooked meals. One small supermarket with fresh fruit and vegetables open daily - near to the beach but not signposted. Larger supermarkets are easily reached by car in less than 5 minutes drive. Tourist office not open and street plans of the area did not show shop/ restaurants. The beach is sandy, wide and long - great for sunbathing and walking - very clean ( downside not possible to clean sand off feet as water pumps not yet turned on. You can walk along the beach north to Guardamar and to Daimus ( more restaurants and bars open here at the weekend), and south to Miramar and Piles. From June/ July onwards Bellreguart comes to life - more bars/ restaurants shops open - a busy happy seaside place to be.

I loved this place, but you must know the reality of the area. There are a lot of empty buildings right now and some sort of political movement with the beach and erosion. In the winter, it seemed like some sort of post-apocalyptic setting with so many empty buildings. They are working fast to refurbish many of the buildings, and it felt quite safe, the few people we saw were friendly and helpful, and there were still plenty of places to eat despite all the COVID restrictions and it being off season. The beach was clean, there were places for kids to play, and we went for nice long walks. I recommend a visit, but be aware that this isn't a posh beach resort, it's much more humble than that. I will go back as I quite enjoyed it.
