Everything. This hotel is, by far, the best hotel I have ever stayed in. It is exceptionally well-maintained and classy. The staff are professional and friendly, and the facilities are second to none. A special mention to Fairouze and Mariam who looked after us right through our stay. This hotel would be considered expensive, but you get 100% of what you pay for here.

The Hotel itself is very nice and feels like an oriental deam from 1001 nights. it is very beautifully architected and built, very colorful and has great facilities, incl. a fantastic pool. However, the best thing about the hotel is its location at the top of a hill with incredible views of the surrounding desert and the river Nile below. The views are absolutely stunning from everywhere at the property incl. all the rooms.

I love how authentic Nubian the place is. The service was super friendly and they went off their way to personally take us sightseeing because we couldn't secure a taxi by ourselves. The traditional Nubian breakfast they served us was delicious. We were at walking distance from the centre of the Nubian village so despite the summer heat we could easily walk around the neighbourhood. They helped us arrange a boat ride around the islands and even told us about locations were we went swimming in the Nile, which I totally recommend to escape the heat!
