There was nothing better than waking up with the mountain view. After visiting all of Ecuador, I can tell that the best view we had, was in Finca Petrona. The brekfast was good, decent options, also fresh fruits and amazing coffee. The best part of course was the brekfast view on the terrace, from where you could see the whole valley of Yunguilla. The apartment was very spacious, also with a kitchen. The owner was very friendly and helpful.

The stay at Mindo Bird Lodge was excellent. The room may not have been 5 star, but it was comfortable and close to the action. The birds are all around. you can sit under cover and have birds fly right by you. Thev private waterfall is incedible - you feel like you are the only one to have ever been there. Such a great place.

Absolutely stunning - the rooms and hotel facilities are gorgeous, with lovely outdoor space on the balconies & by the pool. Luis was super helpful with information and organising transport. Breakfast was delicious. Kindly let us store our bags & use the pool on the day we left. Cannot recommend enough.

This is a haven in Mindo. The location is perfect, just outside the main area and easy and safe to walk around. The decor is homely and modern. The people were so welcoming and couldn’t do enough to help me enjoy my time in Mindo. Very knowledgable about the local area and bird life. Helped me to booked transport so I felt safe as a solo female traveller. This is the place you should choose to stay in Mindo if you want a friendly, local experience that feels luxurious and safe.
