Dining at their restaurant was an immersion in the new Danish gastronomy- a very special experience! Costly but outstanding. The staff was so charming and enthusiastic, as well. This added much to the evening without being intrusive. The intimacy of the dining room made it seem the whole thing was being orchestrated just for us.

The receptionists were very sweet.
The room was very clean and the window opened onto trees and birdsong.
The breakfast buffet was excellent and portions were served in attractive, individual, reusable glass jars with glass lids. Well done on the sustainability front.
Chose the hotel due to location, as a stop to Germany, so great location for us. Super friendly staff. stayed in a room with private bathroom/toilet. breakfast was pretty ok quality. Had dinner at the restaurant which was also great (very old fashioned, but tasty), also no other option in the area.
Everything was absolutely wonderful about our stay at Hotel Fjordkroen. the food was excellent and more than we could eat. Daniel and his girlfriend were exceptionally friendly. This is a family run hotel and very well kept. would stay here again if we are every back here.
View was outstanding right on the waterfront. Peaceful. We were lucky to get a table at the nearby restaurant: Hotel Fjordkroen, we suggest booking ahead: +4555965810 as it is very popular. Not cheap but very good.
