We are glad that at the last minute we managed to get accommodation in Odense in this hotel. It is a very nice hotel with large rooms, bathroom and great breakfast. The beds were big and very comfortable, we slept very well on them. We also appreciated the possibility to rent the hotel bikes. And the location is also excellent, a short walk or already in the centre and close to the station at the same time.

In the city, close to everything. We liked that we could open the window and really let the room cool down. (Why do we get a winter doona in summer?) We enjoyed a beer from the bar and hot drinks later in the evening from the free machine. There was free parking for our car.
Situated 500 metres from Odense Train Station, Comwell H.C. Andersen Dolce by Wyndham offers free WiFi and restaurant. The hotel lobby features sculptures which depict Andersen's work, and H.C.

The only good thing to be said is that it's central. But so is the Dan hostel close by, and you will get better value for your money there.

Main reason we visited Odense was the wonderful Hans Christian Andersen museum but Odense is a very pretty town with great cafes/restaurants and I wish we'd had more time to explore all the town had to offer.

Odense is the original home of Hans Christian Andersen, and provides a wonderful experience in the Arts for all visitors; no matter what age or when you visit. Lots of activities without the rush, or the crush of crowds. Plenty of interesting shops and cafes on kilometres (miles) of walking streets.
Certainly one of the best destinations in Denmark, and one of the greatest overall values for the money.

It feels like home whenever I visit Odense.

This time we really enjoyed a lovely public pool near the harbor and went to the street food place Storms Pakhus. I had the best dumplings I ever had there.
Andersen Museum was a bit 'eh~' and I hope the main street could be a little more lively but it has its calming charm.

Odense is really clean, super charming and bicycle friendly.
Odense is really clean, super charming and bicycle friendly. Seems like every city corner is well taken care of. Modern buildings are very cool, too. H C Andersen's museum and the park being part of the whole composition is quite awesome! We spent two days walking around Odense, so I’d like to come back and explore what Fyn (the island) has to offer.

We were there for New Year and visited a restaurant called Værdsat. The 9 course menu, wines and semi-informal service were great.
We live just outside Odense and just needed a room to stay for the night due to Odense having atrocious public transport outside the city's postal codes and there being a "five wines" menu with the meal 8D.
Odense is a lovely town with lots of history, some of which is being (IMHO) vandalised by modern architecture, which some people will love. But it is a fairly sleepy town with only the HC Andersen attractions being of real note to outside visitors. But there is enough to do here for a weekend. Come in the summer though, as it can be a bit grey and grim in the cold season.
Parking can be a problem and overpriced shop leases (not enough competition and too much real estate in the hands of too few people who know each other) mean that the selection of shops is a bit limited with more empty leaseholds than I like to see.

Good location and parking was easy to find and beside the hotel. We could pay and organize the parking at reception (who were very helpful).
Excellent restaurant and a very good breakfast (good quality food).
Nice room with an excellent shower, good bed, nothing to complain about.
Nice hotel in an old beautiful building with some aristhocratic ambiance. The interior is very beautiful like the stairs and the restaurant. It is located in the city center 2 minutes walking to the main pedestrian street of shopping. 10 minutes walk to the train station and close to Hans Christian Andersen attractions. There are many restaurants in the area close to the hotel and in the same street. The room was good, comfortable and quiet. The breakfast in the magnificent restaurant was very good. Nice staff. Good wifi.
The hotel is pretty simple and modest but very well located - close to the city center. There is free parking available - the amount of places is restricted so first come first serve but we luckily found a free spot. The staff was helpful and polite, the breakfast was good to start the day but nothing special otherwise. Room was pretty small but in okay condition. There was tea/coffee available downstairs next to reception 24/7.
Milling Hotel Mini 19 is well located in Odense. It is close to the train station and the city centre. The staff was extremely helpful and the communication with them was good before and during my stay.
From the first contact until we left - the conversation was first class. I never saw an Accomodation more neat and beautiful like we found in Odense City B&B.
