Svendborg is a lovely seaport with great seafood. During the summer the harbour is filled with many interesting old, wooden, sea craft and there are many restaurants and bars close by.
A ferry to the neighbouring island of Æreø departs from the harbour every 1-2 hours. The small town of Ærøskøbing on this island is well worth a visit. This place is like something out of a Walt Disney movie. Cobbled streets are lined on both sides with beautiful houses all of which seem to date from 1700-1800's with odd ones dating back even earlier.

Beautiful little town.
Beautiful little town. We arrived on a Friday late afternoon and it was great to be in a lively city after days in the country side. We really enjoyed walking around the harbour, where there was plenty of choice for drinks and food. Downtown was lovely too.

We were supposed to move to Odense, but we fell in love with Svendborg and decided to look for an apartment here. It is a truly magical place with its good people. It fits old and young just perfectly. Great architecture. Can't wait to celebrate Christmas here
Wonderful location with a public beach and field next door. The hotel accepts dogs! The view overlooking the water from the room’s balcony and restaurant were serene and restful. The bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was delicious. There is access of a path along the water so we could take a pleasurable walk with our dog.
The property has an exceptionally gorgeous view. Loved the patio, garden and the private pier. The reception and dining areas are elegantly decked and the whole place has a wonderful, sophisticated air. The proximity to Svendborg & Tåsinge is an added advantage. The bed and furnishings are also very comfortable.
This hotel has no staff on the premises. Everything is done by intercom. The room was modern and clean; the bed, comfortable. There is no place for breakfast nearby, except 7-11. It is close to the train station and the ferry terminal. There are several restaurants within a couple of blocks.
Location is great sitting right on the boat harbor in a. scenic setting. Great breakfast and friendly staff. An attractive building with a comfortable lobby and good restaurant with outdoor seating, along with cool shaded areas for enjoying breakfast on a sunny morning.
In a beautiful village you find this superb B&B! The owners are really nice and every detail in the place is made with a big and warm heart. Travelling in Denmark for almost 2 weeks this place was the most beautiful one!
You should use shoes in the shower it was great and it was a perfect price seriously we came for our wedding in Ærøskøbing and this was the best location close to bus and train station and sea!
This is a great location. if you’re travelling across Denmark or destination all by itself. Great restaurant food was amazing in particular the rhubarb /strawberry ice cream soup desert.
Breakfast was excellent, exceeded our expectations. The location was very convenient for our day trip to Aero Island and close proximity to the pedestrian walking area of Svendborg.
