We have stayed here many times but never on a Sunday. Great location and easy to reach. The breakfast staff were very nice, just wish the eggs were hard boiled not soft!
The restaurant is not open, nor the front door or back door. You have to ring and wait for someone to come let you in, not always very quickly.

Brilliant place by the German/ Swiss/French border- its a busy place with great access to the major highways and a hub of public transport. It has a large Turkish community which is thriving with lots of Turkish restaurants, eateries, grocery stores and really nice shisha bars. Shopping is great and youre amongst nature with the greenery around you. You have the new Galleria mall as well as the other great shopping places.

Very busy shopping center.
Very busy shopping center. Various eating places spread around. Industrial zone., Two good Kebab places plus a boring McDo where finding P is easy. Normal Lidl. Quite a nobody place to compare with major German citities and towns. Why I do not know. Too close to Switzerland?

A place close to Rhein and Basel.
A place close to Rhein and Basel. Popular shopping place for people living in Switzerland. Industrial zone. One or two decent hotels. Next to Autobahn. Does not appear to be touristic, but I only stayed in industrial zone. Most of Germany in this region is beautiful with a lot of agriculture.

Despite its train station being under construction and having a somewhat unappealing business district, Weil am Rhein offers conveninet access to the Vitra Campus and a small Altstadt area. My wife and I enjoyed an informal, outdoor pizza dinner hosted by Ali, the friendly and welcoming manager for Yusuf's restaurant on Hauptstrasse.
I liked that the hotel had a sauna when it eventually worked properly.
I liked that the intention was to include a breakfast in the room rate, however good intentions aren't enough when the food sucked, a broad selection of unhealthy options. Food was not hot or even warm that was supposed to be served hot. It gives the impression that the hotel employees simply don't care about the customer experience. What i've experienced occured every day for a 3 night stay.
Rooms and location...the host is also nice and very accomodating...kitchen is fully equipt with what you will need...the bed is so comfortable that i sleep really good.my hasband loves the chocolate and coffee machine.so thoughtful
..such a waste that we stay for just 1night.i could have stay more days if i had a chance but we are just passing by to see basel real quick...i can recommend this place for its close to transportation going to basel..
Our room was on the ground level, which made it so much easier. It was quiet, peaceful, and short walking distance to neighborhood markets and food places. Breakfast was traditional German/European, and it was plentiful. The host was very welcoming and genuinely concerned with our satisfaction. The room was spotless, an absolute joy to stay in. On the Tram #8, line, and an easy, 15 minutes, maybe, taxi ride from the France side of the airport.
Location of hotel is perfect for visiting Basel, tram stop at the front of hotel brings you in 10 min to the centrum of Basel. There is big shoping center across the street and many reaturants at the walking distance. Breakfast was very good, coffee tasty and enough choice of food, staff friendly, room and bathroom is small, but very clean. Free private parking. In short - very good value for money.
The hotel is easy to find and the location is perfect for a stopover during our trip to Italy. A big plus is the free parking! Our rooms were very spacious. After our arrival we had a drink on the rooftop terrace with a nice view over the river. The flammkuchen is delicious! The staff is friendly and also very kind to our children. Breakfast was very tasty and there was plenty of choice.
The hotel is located in a peaceful neighbourhood close to the centre of Weil am Rhein (and ideal to visit Basel) and is staffed by hospitable people. The rooms are spacious and quite at both day and night. The breakfast is delicious and has many options of both sweet and savoury dishes. I would especially recommend the porridge and coffee. Vielen Dank!
The hotel is placed within Rhein Center so provides great access to everything you need. The location was awesome as the hotel is placed right at the borders of Germany, France and Switzerland. Good restaurants around and very nice views. Room was very clean and comfortable, and staff members were very polite and helpful.
Great hotel in a nice location to access restaurants (sadly the hotel restaurant was closed the night we were there) and very convenient for catching a morning flight from the Basel airport. Happily, the church bells change from ringing the quarter hour to only ring the hour after 10pm.
Room was, nice, comfortable, car parking included, very good breakfast, free coffee machine in the hotel lobby
The Hacienda (mexican restaurant) that is open from 6pm till 9pm is also very very good
