Perfect place if you look for a clean room with a shower. Breakfast is basic but enough for European appetite :). I am giving max stars just for the friendliness and hospitality of the host family. They were super helpful, found me a parking place, although I had not booked in advance and helped with the heating in the room. I had to work for half a day after checkout, and they allowed me to stay in the breakfast room undisturbed.

Hotel Sarah is a great option for a comfortable stay around the Heinsberg area. The rooms are very clean and the hotel offers free parking. The check-in and check-out process went automatically online and through the digisafe, which made the process very convenient (especially during our late check-in).

The evening meal was exceptional
However what was the most pleasing feature of the hotel was the service. From the receptionist who made me feel welcome and even made the Covid protocol and checks an easy process, to the restaurant staff who took care of my every need. I would definitely recommend this hotel to everyone and I must not forget that there was no language barrier, so my recommendation goes out especially to non German clients also.

Check-in and check out with the app is no problem. But you have to hold the phone 1-2 seconds close to the sensor and wait 1-2 seconds, I was too impatient and therefore it wasn't working during the first attempts.
The hosts of this historic hotel were warm and welcoming, accommodating my special requests for breakfast and a dinner which were prepared with care. My room was quite small but entirely serviceable, with a comfortable bed and fluffy comforter. The shower was hot and the room was clean.
Beautiful surroundings, cozy hotel, recently renovated rooms, very comfortable mattrasses from Auping (it rare even in expensive hotels), free big parking, easy self check-in.

The hotel is located in the center of Wassenberg and has designating parking. Rooms had been clean and beds were comfortable. You can add breakfast to your stay & the breakfast was great. The staff/owner are super nice and easy to work with.

I wish the hotel restaurant was open for dinner on Mondays and Tuesdays. It was a shame to miss a great dinner.
