In general this was a fairly good hotel. A little thought and minimal cost would make it so much better.
Staff were helpful and friendly, the room was a decent size, the bathroom and shower were good.
Breakfast was good. and the evening meals (at their restaurant (on the other side of the road) were good if expensive.
+ The balcony in the room is quite big and was facing a forest (See photo). Spending the late evening on the balcony was a great way to relax.
+ There is a very big Edeka (Supermarket) nearby (with Bakery; Cafe; prepared food; and all you need).
+ Umkirch is very quiet.
+ Easy access to the highway.
+ Nice staff.
The house location is in Umkirch, near Freiberg, Breisach, and Colmar, very convenient. The room is spacious, and the balcony has a nice view of the farmland, a quiet small town, we loved it. The host welcomed us with hospitality and introduced everything to us in detail and patiently. Recommend with 5-star!
