The guesthouse is outside a town and it felt as if we were staying on a farm. There are lots of walking trails. The food in the restaurant was very good!

Only truly interesting thing about the town of Triberg are...
Only truly interesting thing about the town of Triberg are the waterfalls. Other than that, the place has been spoiled by the overly touristy, quasi-Disneyland feel. The are much prettier and more interesting villages to visit in the Black Forest than this. On the other hand, it’s a good base if what you want to do is go hiking. Natural surroundings are great.

So many cool things to do and see in Triberg.
So many cool things to do and see in Triberg. We walked up to the main waterfall, strolled the main street, and bought a nice cookoo clock, designed and hand carved in shop. At night we parked on a back road under the stars and enjoyed no light pollution, taking in the amazing night sky view! Definitely recommend a visit to this Schwarzwald town!

The waterfall is worth the climb, and great that it's included in the guest card issued by the hotel. We also visited the Black Forest museum, which was interesting, although unfortunately our German wasn't good enough to read much of the information with the exhibits. The scenery is lovely.

We stayed at triberg interest things to see there. We also used the local konus card and went on the gutach alpine coaster , gengenbach and various other small nearby Black Forest towns. You may consider day trip to europa park as well

The Black Forest is beautiful and Triberg is a charming town, if maybe a little tourist-kitschy. There are not a lot of really good dining options -- Cafe Tresor is the only standout -- but there is a really nice grocery store, Edeka, right in the middle of town. The much-hyped waterfall is worth the short but steep hike. It's a good location to explore other towns and attractions.
The staff/owners were super accommodating as we had to arrive later than the check in time. Our room was very comfortable and spacious for our family of 4. The Cafe downstairs was great for an easy breakfast and then to buy some of the baked goods. My kids loved the black forest cake served in the cafe. Great location...walking distance to EVERYTHING we wanted to see, plus conveniences like a Rossman, Sparkasse, Edeka, etc.
The hotel is well located to be at the centre of Triberg attractions and famous waterfalls.
The best thing about this hotel is the staff. The staff were a delight. So friendly and welcoming, always ready to answer questions or help. The young receptionist even carried our bags to our rooms on arrival and departure.
The food was also reasonably good and drinks were made available in the lounge area
Was excellent property as location was in center of town and provided easy access to what we came to see. Breakfast was one of best we had during our two week tour of Germany, Austria, and Switzerland. Room was excellent with outstanding decor and vibrant attire. Management/hostess was outstanding, very accommodating and very much on top of the business.
It was such a cute place to stay. The views of Triberg from our patio were beautiful. It was located in the center of town, so very close to the Black Forest and to stores in town. The courtyard was adorable for our afternoon coffee and cake. The staff was very friendly. I would highly recommend this hotel.
really convenient location. guests can cook in the kitchen. the apartment is just 30 seconds from a supermarket. it has lots of food options nearby. the town itself is also very beautiful, and it's only about 10 minutes from the triberg waterfalls.
I greatly appreciated that they provided Netflix too.
Fantastic stay in such a peaceful and beautiful area. Peaceful and quiet farm stay - yet just a short drive into Triberg. The family loved helping out with the farm animals and Barbara and Isabelle were very friendly and welcoming. We'd definitely recommend and would love to return again one day.

The owners are more than polite and helpful. The apartment is close to the center and to the waterfalls. The best choice you can make in order to enjoy Black Forest. We DO suggest it for sure :))
Good location in the middle of the town centre. Excellent breakfast with variety of food. You get gratis Triberg card here which gives you free entrance to waterfalls, Scwarzwald museum, Instagram museum, minitrain museum, swimming pool and public transport.
I loved that when we opened the window in our room we could hear the running water!! And we were treated to a sing-along to Black Forest folk music while at the restaurant! The food was wonderful and the staff was great! Wonderful and charming place to be.
Very close walking distance to everything but still far enough for a peaceful quiet atmosphere. The room was spacious and the breakfast didn't leave any wishes open. I would definitely recommend this hotel and would love to visit again!
Execellent location, the apartment is just next to the Triberg Waterfall and opposite to Black Forest Museum. It is very close to bustop (Marktplaz) and Edeka supermarket. Other tourist attractions are in very close proximity.
