Did not realise that the restaurant was closed. We were told that there were places to eat in the next town down the road. They were all shut, on holiday and only a halal pizza and kebab place open. We wanted a beer. Soooooo on to the next and next and next village and, almost in Singen, we found an Italian open next to a hotel. What joy! But it took half an hour to find and over 15mins drive back.
The hotel is situated in nice and quiet location, approximately 30 minute's drive from Schaffhausen and Black forest the source of the Danube if you want to see several things then it's your place. Furnishing is not the most modern, but it's spotless clean and beds are comfy. Breakfast is standard german.
location & staff - they still have to work on the hotel a lot - but the owner was a great help - she was very friendly and helpful for travellers. Hopefully once they re-do the Hotel - it will be a top select for everyone.
