The restaurant is fantastic and it is serving the best quality food. The 5 course dinner is a 5 star restaurant level in taste and presentation.

Visiting this place was just breathtaking. Everything is so clean and neat. Nice people and nice surroundings. Mountain views are beautiful. Super close to Switzerland if you are hesitating to see Mozart house and see the town. Also close to the Eagle’s Nest.

Wonderful experience and beautiful view.
Wonderful experience and beautiful view. We look the boat to the far end of Konigssee and hiked straight up for 2 hours to the waterfall. It was strenuous, but worth it. We stopped at Bartholomew on the way back, had a very good lunch at the restaurant and relaxed by the water before returning. The boats were very comfortable, clean and well maintained. Highly recommend.

The town is beautiful! There’s a lot to do in the area. I definitely recommend taking the boat tour across the lake to both Salet and St. Bartholoma. The hikes at both were incredible! There are several shops and restaurants near the lake with a lot of options for food and souvenirs. There’s a lot of parking as you get close to the waterfront. I do recommend getting there early though as the lots do fill up. Bring some coins for the parking meter as well. Definitely recommend a trip here!

absolutley the best location in terms of utility and proximity to attractions (also has every shop you need in it) - However perhaps berchtedgaden itself is the better view (especially of mt. watzmann).

What a beautiful place to spend time! The weather was perfect, the scenery was beautiful, the people were nice, and my husband and I enjoyed it so much. We can't wait to visit again because there is so much more to experience!

Get there early. There's a lot of people here. You had to wait in line to climb the mountain but I'm not complaining cause it's spectacular there. I wish they had a common area trash can though cause I kept picking up discarded trash from other visitors.

Perfect location close to the Königssee and Jennerberg. Within walking distance to the Tankstellen bus stop. The facility was very clean and well kept. The staff were extremely friendly and helpful. My room had a great view of Jenner silhouetted by beautiful flowers. Breakfast was cold cuts, cereal, cheese, juice, and bread. I'll gladly stay here again when back in the Berchtesgaden/Schönau am Königssee region.
This hotel is one of the cutest places on the planet Earth. The view is wonderful! The location is great, we’ve been walking to the Königssee for less then an hour incl stops for pictures and so on. The place was really clean, pretty and breakfast was also superb.
The stuff is simply the best. Such kind and friendly people making you feel like home.

The hotel was well located for access to the Koenegssee as well as Schoenau and only a short drive to the Obersalzburg and Berchtesgaden. I could walk to dinner and to the national park area for more hiking or sightseeing on the lake. The owner is an absolute treasure. She is funny and friendly. I plan on staying there for my next trip.

We ate dinner at the hotel one night and that was excellent too. The hotel feels very authentically Bavarian. Would definitely go back
First, I like Christian - the owner of this hotel. He is so nice and has a good sense of humor. Second, breakfast is great! You need enough energy for long distance hiking～ Last but not least, its location is great, easy to go dinner, go to Central station.
