The manager spoke English. We made a mistake in our booking of the room and the manager corrected the problem. Our room was on the top floor and we thought the room was nicely done. They also were able to store the bike in a safe locked location.

Really lovely hotel and tea working there. Despite arriving as a hot and scruffy touring cyclist I was made to feel very welcome. The room was great, the grounds very peaceful for sitting and reading and the afternoon coffee very much appreciated! I'd recommend this hotel to anyone and I'd single it out to stay in again if I was in the area.
This is a very very nice hotel, with 24 hour staff in the front desk. Breakfast is excellent. This is our second stay here. Over and above hospitality.
