One-of-a-kind experience! Not just because of the night in the floating tent under the treetops and stars (we were lucky enough to have clear skies), but also the hospitality of the host and authenticity of the location. With the bedding provided it was more than warm enough in the tent for us and it was assuring to know there was a room available as backup (if it rains, is too cold, ...). The breakfast is like the pension & location: authentic, local, charming and very enjoyable.

I had a gorgeous view to the hills of the Bayrischer Wald, spent a wonderful evening in the Beer Garden, had nothing but exceptionally friendly interactions with the staff, strolled around the village square (the hotel is in the middle of the village) and enjoyed flawless fast wi-fi. I was up too early for breakfast, but the food coming out of the kitchen smelled great for dinner, so I assume breakfast is fine :-)
Breakfast was very good. Eggs made to order! The staff were attentive and friendly. New fresh, clean and spotless. Free safe parking located next to the building. There is a fine restaurant on site. The location is within 5 min. walking distance to the excellent J. B. Falter brewery with beer garden/restaurant. All in all a great experience for the one night. Would book there again for sure.
The location of the hotel is superb - in a quiet little village, just close and with a nice view on the ruins of the old castle. The room (with balcony, on the first floor) was large and clean, very good beds, with a nice view from the balcony on the surrounding countryside. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Free wifi, free parking, free bed sets, free bath towers. No need to bring anything. It is a 80 square meter apartment. There is a big garden. This area is super friendly for a family with a dog. We stay a week, and cook everyday without problem. We love this place, and will be back again for sure. We highly recommend it to you.
