This property is clean and new and full of unexpected small touches that make for a pleasant stay - toothbrushes, washcloths, a plentiful selection of in-room tea and coffee, and even a tea towel. The decor is tasteful and the room quite comfortable. The property is easy to find and the non-contact checkin was seamless.
Breakfast at the bakery is easy and delicious. Due to error on my part (the app crashed mid-booking), I didn’t book with breakfast included, but the additional charge would be of good value.

The room was excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and efficient. As a family owned hotel, it retained an intimate atmosphere and it was clear that the owners cared deeply about enhancing the stay for their guests. The food in the restaurant was excellent, and it was great to see that the dishes were regional and locally sourced. The breakfast was a delight and consisted of a continental style buffet. It was so good to see that they were not catering for the increasing need to have a "full English" on tap.
