A delightful little town, Hotel Post was excellent.
A delightful little town, Hotel Post was excellent. We had a slightly complicated arrival but HP coped and we had a lovely stay - albeit for just one night. A lovely room, very nice staff and a great breakfast. If it fits in your itinerary go for it.

Delightful small town with art connections to Kandinski and his mistress Gabriele Munter whose house is a small museum. The castle museum is also very good.
We ate in the old brewery, self service but luckily had servers who spoke English. Good value and full of atmosphere.

Central location of hotel in Murnau. Historic building. Clean comfortable rooms at a reasonable price. Staff friendly, helpful and professional. Lovely breakfast room. Very good range of tourist information available at hotel. Reception staff gave very useful tips and information on local amenities, e.g. free travel by train to Garmisch, local restaurants, shops, etc.
The location of the property is definitely amazing and loved the all nature around the hotel. The breakfast and dinner were good. The rooms were clean and the bar service was very good. The external pool was also very nice.
