Beautiful family owned place. The owners were really nice, made sure that we have everything that we needed. The rooms are big and comfortable. The breakfast was great too. Beautiful place with beautiful views. Will definitely love to visit again

A delightful little town, Hotel Post was excellent. We had a slightly complicated arrival but HP coped and we had a lovely stay - albeit for just one night. A lovely room, very nice staff and a great breakfast. If it fits in your itinerary go for it.

Delightful small town with art connections to Kandinski and his mistress Gabriele Munter whose house is a small museum. The castle museum is also very good.
We ate in the old brewery, self service but luckily had servers who spoke English. Good value and full of atmosphere.

Lovely location surrounded by glorious nature with gorgeous views towards the mountains. A pretty main street with attractive shops and tempting restaurants. Easy to access by train from Munich and a good base on a railway junction for exploring the region. Be sure to make use of the guestcard which is issued free for the duration of your stay to anyone booking B+B or hotel accommodation and allows you to travel much of the area by bus and train without charge.

Central location of hotel in Murnau. Historic building. Clean comfortable rooms at a reasonable price. Staff friendly, helpful and professional. Lovely breakfast room. Very good range of tourist information available at hotel. Reception staff gave very useful tips and information on local amenities, e.g. free travel by train to Garmisch, local restaurants, shops, etc.
The location is great, it is right at the heart of the town, close to every thing you need.
The hotel is very clean, their breakfast is excellent
serve with the best quality of meat.
The front desk is very helpful to find a transportation back to the airport.
Overall we are very satisfied during our stay at Hotel Post Murnau
It is close to the city farmers market. Lots of small retail shops as well as food stalls. Easy walking to the train station ( 9-10 minutes). I discovered 3 ways from the hotel. The breakfast is Continental cold cuts and fruits and the only warm food is the hard boil egg or coffee/tea.
Though we were not greeted warmly in the morning, the appearance of the hotel manager in the afternoon made a huge difference. She's so kind and friendly, combining tradition with style in the hotel. We really enjoyed our stay.
The location of the property is definitely amazing and loved the all nature around the hotel. The breakfast and dinner were good. The rooms were clean and the bar service was very good. The external pool was also very nice.

Oliver and staff were very helpful. We really enjoyed the pass cards and used it daily for travel and recreation.
