This was one of the best hotels I have stayed so far. New furniture, comfy beds, big rooms, fantastic food and overall nice stay. All things in room are electric. Even light turn on automatically. Tv was big enough.

I had a lovely room with spacious bathroom in this very clean, we-run hotel. My room had a small refrigerator, cooktop and bar sink, and I loved the little patio off the bedroom. All of the staff members are wonderful - we especially commend Bishnu who was always very patient with our questions! The breakfast buffet offered a wide selection - something for everyone. One night our large group ate in the hotel restaurant and everything was absolutely delicious! We also enjoyed our time spent in the hotel Biergarten. Also, the hotel is located within easy walking distance to Meppen’s main square.

A great town, close to the border, with all you need for a vacation, great people, very friendly, clean and a lot of facilities in nature for walking and relaxing. Just a 2-hour drive to Amsterdam or even less to Dusseldorf, Koln, Bonn, or other interest points.
Very nice staff, good breakfast, nice modern rooms, quiet location, although a bit isolated, outside the centre of Meppen. A bike or car is needed to reach the inner city. There is no restaurant available, but there are cold beverages, plates and cuttlery to use when ordering pizzaservice. At a distance of about 1km (walking distance) there is Restaurant Tiek, which I can recommend for dinner.
This place caters to bicycle tourists. As we were, in fact, bicycle tourists, the bicycle garage was a great feature. The Tiek 2 is a couple of meters away from the main hotel and features little apartments with a mini kitchen. Bed was fine, place was clean.
The hotel has 2 different locations. We were in the 2nd location and had to go for breakfast to the other location (500 metres distance). Not a problem for us as the weather was good and we had our bikes with us. The breakfast was oke.
We love this Hotel. So comfortable and cosy. Central location in Meppen and yet quiet. Good breakfast buffet and great sauna facilities. There is a public parking garage for 5€ per day across the street. We'll be back.
