Excellent staff: responsive, welcoming, willing to help, e.g. in our case with a late (after 9pm) check-in. Breakfast: while not excessive in terms of amount, it is very clean and healtny, well cooked, and nicely served. Good WiFi. Police cars use the same parking as the hotel, which may increase safety. A small bottle of good mineral water in the room. The hotel is on the outskirts of a charming small Allgäu city of Memmingen providing quick access to/from the Autobahn. Perfect for a one-night stop while travelling with a car.

We used Memmingen as a base for a 4 day family trip.
We used Memmingen as a base for a 4 day family trip. We traveled from Memmingen to Stuttgart, Munich and Neuschwanstein Castle. The town is very well connected by trains to all of these locations and many more.
It is very interesting and beautiful to walk around and offers many shopping opportunities if that interests you.
It takes only around 10 minutes to get to the Memmingen Intl Airport. The airport shuttle stops right at the main train station.
Overall, a very convenient transit spot for everyone flying in to Memmingen.

The town is delightful We arrived by train from Munich the hotel was a 5 minute walk.We had a map of the town and wandered around The following day we followed the map on both routes We found a brewery JoeseppsBrauhaus there we had excellent beer and food.We left the following day via the airport if we had more time we would have taken the train to Lake Constance
I think Memmingham would be an excellent choice to visit and use the train to visit nearby towns.

Memmingen is lovely small town.
Memmingen is lovely small town. If you happen to get there, don't miss the one hour train ride to Lindau am BodenSee, which is by far worth visiting and take one of the boat trips that connect Germany, Austria and Switzerland coastline towns round the lake.

If you need to take an early flight it is just perfect. Rooms very clean with towel and nice bedsheets and curtains and a table plus chairs, bathrooms very clean.
The price is super fair.
It's not my choice to sleep with four people in one room, but I knew what I was expecting. Everybody was trying to be calm and undisturbing.
The very light light in the hallway all night is not neccessary.
Very nice housekeeper.
The area at night is pretty awful.
There could be signs to find it - google maps was overwhelmed.

Leuk to visit, but not for a long stay.
Leuk to visit, but not for a long stay. A half a day is enough to see de important parts of the city. One can combine it easily with a visit to the neighboring Ottobeuren. Usually, we stop overnight at Memmingen on the way from Holland to Austria/Italy.

Very beautiful traditional small town. Good but not many food options. Memmingen is nice but if you travelled there for Munich, then I don't recommend it. It's 1.3 hour away+the airport close at night so extra $$ for staying there.
Hotel Weisses Ross pleasantly surprised by high quality of service in the small town of Memmingen. The check in was quick, the room was spacious and well heated, and the breakfasts were delicious! Great location - everything is within walking distance.
We especially want to note the staff from the reception - they acted promptly and professionally, when, due to a problem with a smell from the sewer that arose in the evening, we were immediately moved to a higher-class room. Thank you very much!
This is a great place if you are staying for one night. 3 minutes of walking to the the airport, which is great if you are arriving or departuring early or late in the night. Still, it is very modest, small but clean and really convenient, and I would not stay here more than one night, but only to be close to the airport, which is probably the main service of this place. Check in is on a self - check in machine, very easy. I had my own room, but shared the bathroom and toilet.
This was my first time visiting Germany and I was fascinated by the city and the accommodation the hotel provided. I had only booked for one night and the stuff was more than helpful to make a reservation for a 2nd night as well. The venue is located around 10-15 min away by foot from the city center and just across the street is a wonderful pizzeria. Great experience over all and the best place for international students to crash by after arriving from Memmingen's airport.
We arrived at the city at one in the morning, three hours before the flight, the guy got up especially to open for us. We asked him to book a taxi to the airport at four in the morning, he tried all the taxis in Memmingen and when he could not find a driver he announced that he would take us to the airport himself. Extraordinary courtesy. The room is big and beautiful, luxurious beds, in the beautiful center of the city., Too bad we did not stay longer
A lovely family hotel in the centre of the city. We were amazed with the service and kindness of our hosts. Lovely and hospitable people! The room was amazing and spacious, and I would also recommend their restaurant. We had both our dinner and breakfast there - the food is sooo tasty! If I ever return to Memmingen, I know where I'll book my accommodation 🙂 I would definitely recommend this property!
Charming German Hotel just on the edge of the old town. Only 100 metres from the old city wall entrance. Our bedroom was large and had everything to make your stay comfortable. There were places to sit both inside and outside the hotel. Indeed we had a delightful meal in the beer garden in the evening. Breakfast was, as usual in Germany, excellent. There was free private hotel parking.
The service of the receptionist was very kind.
As there is not air-condition in the hotel, she offered the coolest available room in the hotel and even provided us with a fan. The hotel is in walking distance to the city and a few minutes by car to the airport. Beds were very comfortable.
Had a very short stay as we used this hotel for one night before our early flight from memmingem. Vrry clean hotel, modern and good breakfast. Staff were very helpfull for airport transfers and even managed to order food from an outside restaurant for us even though it was late.

Staff was awesome. Very welcoming. They gave us instructions were to take dinner and offer us lunch boxes as our flight was planned before the breakfast.
Just a few minutes from the airport, so if you have an early or later flight, it's a good option. Comfy beds, clean room. Towels in the bathroom and a small pack of gummibears as a welcome.
