I love this hotel! I have stayed here many times when visiting the Thuringia region (from America). The location is beautiful - in the mountains (at the bottom of a valley). The staff is very friendly and accommodating. Breakfast is very substantial, and the in-house restaurant is excellent for evening meals! The hostess, Helga is a wonderful woman! She's warm and friendly, funny and kind!

The location is perfect for a stay in Lauscha. Check-in was very easy and not limited to any reception opening hours due to a submitted code for self check-in. The breakfast buffet offered a wide variety of food - sweet and salty - both delicious, and also
