We liked the location between Triberg and Schonwald with a car.
Great eggs at breakfast. We had them fried one day and scrambled the next. Also you must try the small muffins - yum!
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed both nights we stayed but found great options close by.

Friendly and helpful hosts. (host was not able to be there when we arrived and left us a kind and detailed note about how to get in, our rooms, and even suggestions for where we could go for dinner) Breakfast was fresh with a good variety.

Very nice little hotel run by the sweetest lady! Breakfast was fantastic!
The breakfast was average for European breakfasts. Exactly what a European traveller would expect. Nothing particularly special.
The overall aesthetic of the hotel, restaurant area and outdoors was very nice.
There was a nice guest lounge area with a long table and a sitting area with a tv.
The location is close to a few places worth visiting ie: triberg.
There was nothing wrong with the bathroom. It had everything you needed.
Hotel is located in quiet comfortable and peaceful place with ample of parking spaces . The hotel is in between Triberg falls and Tittisse lake, so it is easy to reach these places quickly. The best thing about this hotel is the mesmerizing panoramic view of mountains from balcony. The breakfast was good with several options. we also had dinner in the hotel which was delicious as well.
we were so happy with the hospitality.
Nice stay in a beautiful nature and quiet surroundings, good location and base for a trekking weekend, the hotel was really nice, overall as expected, breakfast very good, restaurant from my perception a bit pricey, offering good quality food, hence nothing to complain, menu with good selection of local dishes, service was convenient, staff very friendly.
The owner Antonia and her team were exceptionally friendly and accommodating. The restaurant was world-class not only in quality of food and service but comfort! I especially appreciated their acceptance of the American Express and the fact they were recognized as the best hotel Inn in the Black Forest was so surprise. Planning my trip to come again.
The main attraction was only a few steps away from the hotel entrance, while there was also plenty of tracks for cycling or hiking up and down the hills. Absolutely dog friendly, everywhere was welcome except the two anti-allergen rooms. Fantastic views from balcony rooms. Very understanding, ready to help and friendly staff.
Very cosy and clean hotel. Breakfast and dinner are great, They use local fresh products. The owner and family are really friendly. We had a family room which was spacious and had very nice views of the fields. Easy parking, great access to trails and other spots in the neighbourhood. Would definitely come back here.
The hotel is in an excellent location sat alongside the B500 if you want to tour the Black Forest, we only stayed for the one night passing through, the rooms were clean and bright, the decor throughout the hotel is quite funky too, the restaurant was good and breakfast in the morning was ample too.
Great location, friendly staff and nice room.
And did I mention, great location. The kind you wanna keep for yourself, but if you like peace and quite. The hotel is at 1150m on the top overlooking the valley on 2 sides and bordering on the forest on the other sides.
The room was very spacious. The hotel is delightfully old and it feels nice having an actual key to a hotel room. The breakfast was simple yet perfectly European in style: smoked salmon, meats, cheeses, bread, fruits, juices, cereals, vegetables.
The hotel was in a superb location. Staff were welcoming and food excellent. We had a large balcony so we're able to sits and watch the sunsets. We would like to go again and have promised ourselves we will
