We loved everything about this wonderful hotel. It’s like staying in a museum. The room was very comfortable and spacious. Well equipped with lots of electrical outlets and space for belongings. Bed was comfortable. Breakfast was a real treat. Free covered parking right outside the door. The proprietor and his wife were so friendly and helpful. The location is perfect for exploring the Black Forest. Price was very reasonable. Don’t hesitate reserving here, you won’t be disappointed.

Everything was great, except that a net mosquito at the windows is missing. We found mosquito, flies and night butterflies in the bathroom. And, when closing the windows it was getting too hot inside.

The hotel is great and the staff is very nice.
The hotel is great and the staff is very nice. Always available to help and asking if everything is ok. The room and the bathroom are very spacious and the breakfast is very good, with a lot of variety to choose from.
The location is perfect to rest and get away from the city. I totally recommend this hotel in case you need to disconnect and want to spend a few days in the nature.

Amazing hotel.
Amazing hotel. Rooms are comfortable, very clean and the decoration is simple awesome. Staff is very kind. We were very surprised by the quality of the hotel. Certainly a nice place to stay. We regretted not staying longer.

Fantastic hotel, with beautiful, quirky decor. A great games room with ping pong and fussball table.

Dobel is small with few options for eating but the next town ( min drive) has numerous restaurants/ bars / shops.

This hotel in Dobel is our preferred stop when travelling to Italy. Very friendly staff, large and well equiped rooms, and very clean. Breakfast in corona times was plentiful and well organised. As we are traveling with 2 Golden Retrievers, it is not always easy to find a place where we feel at ease. But this was a great match. The green surroundings and close proximity to the woods are a definite asset.
This was our second time staying at Hotel Rössle, and both visits were very pleasant. The rooms are quiet and clean and comfortable. Nice large towels in the bathroom, and plenty of choice at breakfast. We also appreciate the quirky and eclectic decorations. The hotel also is very accommodating to our special requests when we have them. Will definitely book another room there when we are back in the area.
We stayed at this hotel for the second time for a reason. This is a very comfortable, convenient, and beautiful hotel with wonderful hosts. The room has everything you need, parking is free right on the spot. Delicious beer and snacks in the evenings and wonderful breakfasts. Many thanks to the owner Sergey for his attention and heartfelt conversations.

Communication with the host was super easy, check-in and check-out smooth and flexible. All kinds of pleasantries and appliances were available to make our stay comfortable. Dobel sits directly on top of several hiking paths and we really enjoyed the blue one to Wildseemoor, as it was small, mostly wild and quiet, without people.
Hotel with character in a good location in the heart of the Black Forest. Decent restaurants in fairly short driving distance. Nice individual room with balcony overlooking quiet courtyard and patio area. Nice owners with honesty bar for drinks and some play/relaxation areas downstairs.
The decor and the whole setting is absolutely beautiful. The breakfast is everything you can need on the continent and delicious. The owners make you feel so welcome and they have worked so hard to make this more than just a hotel. It's a really beautiful place.
The room was quite spacy compared to other German hotels. We had ground floor and hence good access with the luggage to the room. Very friendly staff and breakfast was very good! (perhaps should have more coffee selections like Cappuccino etc.)

Very unusual and different style of hotel which made it an interesting place to stay. The owner cooked us some pizzas as arrived late and restaurant was closed. We really appreciated this.

Just off the Westweg, the hotel had a terrace for drinks before dinner, a good dinner and a nice room with furnishings that reflected the hosts interests in travel and cars!
