Breakfast was very good. Staff were friendly and bar staff Chris at night was very pleasant. The view from the dining room and the proximity to the beach were excellent. We arrived at the island by catamaran which I can recommend as the journey is much shorter and much less turbulent than the ferry. The last leg of the journey was by a little train from the island’s port to the town which was very pretty.

It is not acceptual that you can't use the car outside the hotel although we have booked a parking lot in the yard. The time in the hotel I am a resident and I should be allowed to use my car. That has not been to told to me before the booking.
Nice family hotel, extremely well kept, spotlessly clean, good decoration (although in the "traditional" style), warm welcome from the reception and the staff in general, despite the language bareer, lift, large and confortable room, very good breakfast, just in front of the train station so very convenient with the luggage, 2 minutes away from the beach, all facilities around from bike rental to food options, etc - anyway, Borkum is small.
We had a wonderful time at this hotel. The staff were very friendly and we felt welcome on arrival. The beds were firm and comfortable and we had enough space for our family in the junior suite. The location is perfect, in the center of town, close to beaches, shops and museums but not a loud street. The train is close by and can be noisy a few times per day but not too early or in the evening. The breakfast was wonderful!
The hotel centrally located, right in front of the tram station. Although centrally located, it was not loud.
The food was very good for both breakfast and dinner. The personnel both in the restaurant and at the reception were very helpful, friendly and polite.
The pool, even tough it was a written that it is heated, the day we stayed at the hotel, it was colder, so only recommended the ones who enjoy fresh water :).
The staff is very nice and helpful and the room was beautiful and very comfortable we also had a balcony with a great view. The hotel it's next to the dunes, in a quiet and peaceful place, in the middle of nature. Easy access by bus from the centre or the best option is to have a bike and take the trails all around the island. Incredible weekend!
Small-scale family hotel with friendliness and generosity at its core. Everything provided was of the best quality within a sympathetically modernized traditional island barn. The setting and location is beautiful -- perhaps the closest accommodation to one of the most natural North Sea beaches.
I like my stay in Borkum! I am really glad that I could find a place for a reasonable price. I got exactly what I read in the description. Very friendly and helpful staff, clean everywhere. I felt very comfortable there!
