Truly exceptional stay in romantic medieval castle which is a bit abandoned but currently being brought back to it's previous beauty with a lot of love (and respect to it's history). However the room we stayed in was fully ready for guests and had everything we need: kitchen, comfortable beds, shower, was cozy, clean and warm.

A large beer garden, a small indoor pool and 2 saunas are offered at this peaceful hotel. It lies 1.6 mi from Pirna and 3.7 mi from the A17 motorway.

The room on the first flor was excellent, but the one called ‘single room’ was not so good. It was small for the price and very hot, but the main problem was a real invasion of small flies that practically covered the ceiling of the bathroom, there were literally heaps of them in the bathtub, they were in the room… we never saw anything similar… It would also be nice if you supplied soap etc.
