We arrived late and the staff was welcoming and helpful. Our breakfast the next morning was exceptional with even better service! The reception area was so warm and relaxing. A fireplace, a small library and seating that was comfy! Everyone went out of their way to answer our questions... and in English as we unfortunately speak almost no German. We would have loved to stay longer. God willing, we will return!

very central position. staff very kind and helpful
We liked this friendly,bustling town.
The haven was nice, and the boat trip along the canal very pleasant.
We found some very reasonably priced good restaurants.
Nice market, particularly the fish stall. We tries smoked trout and smoked eel.Delicious..
The Stadt Museum was excellent, and beautifully ,sensitively and intelligently curated.
We spent a lot of time in there, and some of the artefacts, for example, from bourgeois families in C19th Aurich very engaging.Modern history handled excellently, too.

A nice but small town in the middle of nowhere and close to the coast. The city wasn't new to me as i was born and raised up there. So no tourist visit but for visiting family and friends. Of course the city has changed as all cities do. If you wanna enjoy nature, and rural life (no big city lights at night but darkness and silence), you will like it for escaping from a big city. If you expect lots of party and fun it's the wrong choice. At all worth to see for a few days!
The beautiful apartment is clean, open, spacious and comfortable. The location is the BEST! Centrally located in Aurich, easy walk to almost everything. The kitchen is modern and well equipped. The bathroom is very nice. The bed is large and comfortable. We were very happy to stay here and we highly recommend it.
We really like this hotel. The sphere, the food, the room are fantastic, the stuff is very friendly and hospitable. The sauna and swimming pool are also very nice.
And the wellness (massage, pedicure) was excellent.
This hotel was way above its 4**** Rating--it would be 4* if air condition was provided. Good taste with interior design, rooms high-end, good ambience, good bar with friendly staff, good service and 'feeling'.
