The property is set in a very quiet location, off the main road (a bit of a challenge to find at first) but easy walking distance to the beautiful town of Cheb. It is a very modern property and absolutely spotlessly clean everywhere. The views of the town are amazing. I was welcomed by the host (who had sent a text earlier with the alternate checking in times for the day), who let me into the private, off road and covered parking area behind a locked gate - an absolute bonus for me as a motorcycle rider. The room itself was quiet, well equipped (including a kettle and a small fridge so I could brew a cuppa!), large bathroom with an excellent shower. Breakfast was good, with a range of hot and cold foods.
I also thought I'd left something at the property and when I contacted the staff, they went out of their way to check, which - as I was 250km away - I very much appreciated.
The family-run Penzion u Vlčků provides rooms with a seating area and free Wi-Fi. It is located in a pedestrian zone, 100 metres away from Cheb’s centre. All rooms are soundproofed and come with a TV....

- Friendly communication with the Penzion staff
- Tea, coffee, sugar, electric kettle and cups available in the kitchen without extra charge
- The kind gesture to check in at a later time than defined
Medieval town with very nice city center. You can visit Cheb castle, town's museum (spent 3 hours there!), retro museum, multiple churches and monasteries or you can tak a train and in few minutes you're in bath city of Františkovy Lázně, or SOOS. Lot of castles and castle ruins around and if you get bored by western Bohemia, you can visit Germany, as border of tone throw far.

Cheb's chief attraction is its main square, full of beautiful old painted houses. I visited in May, and though there were tourists about, it wasn't overcrowded. Nor was it overpriced - coffees, restaurants and delicious Italian ice creams were very good value.
The town is well served by public transport, the main station being less than a 10 minute walk from the famous square.
Gentlemen! I strongly request to get my money repayed for this absolutely unhuman conditions of living.
All rooms has no toilets аnd washstands . Only joint facilities in the end of a long corridor.
All night long there were coming a crowds of a drunk German visitors . They were so noisy and aggressive that we were had to call to police.
My family did not sleep at all.
Just to save your reputation as a proper service , you have to rdelete this point from an offer.

The time we spent on our trip was great, the historic center of Cheb is wonderful with lots of other attractions, as well as other places in the area. We had all the comforts in the hotel, the apartment was spacious and well furnished, the breakfast was always very rich and varied in a beautiful environment with pleasant and attentive staff.
When I arrived I was greeted by a lovely host, he explained and showed me places I could visit. I was met with a very clean apartment after reconstruction in the centre of the city Cheb. Overall great experience in the city centre of Cheb, especially when attractions are within walking distance.
This is a great place to stay in Cheb. Very close to the main square, and just 5 minutes walk to the railway station. A friendly welcome, and a good and large room. Comfortable bed. At a good price too! Really wish I could have stayed longer. Definitely recommended.
Hotel Barbarossa is situated exactly in the center of Cheb/Eger, just next to the big Square in the city-center. The Tourist-inforation is just around the corner. The room was OK, the staff were welcomming and helpfull and the breakfast was fine.
Convenient accommodation in the center of Cheb. Looks more like an apartment that has been converted into several guest rooms with a common kitchen. Easy check-in, key was in the safe box, and I did not even have to meet the owner.
A nice hotel halfway between the train station / bus terminal and the city centre. A surprisingly comfortable, well-equipped room. We decided not have breakfast at the hotel as Cheb is full of nice cafes.
A really good conversion of an older building. The accommodation is spacious and modern. I liked the breakfast options. The location is excellent for the historic core of Cheb, and handy for transport.
Owners are very friendly, wonderful view over the town, rooms are newly renovated and on hotel level, breakfast was good and exceeded expectation, quiet place but only 5 minute walk into town
First day - staff were nice and all spoke english begore they had a hotel representative ripping me off and locking me inside the hotel !!! What kind of a law system is that that allows this?
Emily (the host) is a very kind and responsive person. We felt welcome. The accommodation is big and the location is great (just 2 minutes walk from the castle of
Cheb).
