Incredible landscaping, convenient parking and location of the rooms. Food in the restaurant is delicious. Rooms are very nice, I like that it was dark for restful sleep. Beautiful, secluded, but still close to La Fortuna downtown. The view from our room was incredible, and it seems as though all the rooms have awesome views of the volcano. I feel we got a true Costa Rican experience. The property host many wildlife animals that can be viewed from your room!

The location of Camp Verde is wonderful; close to the busy town of La Fortuna, but quiet with a magnificent view of the volcano. They have a fantastic nature trail on the property. Be prepared for some steep steps, but bring your binoculars for better views of the amazing birds - Great Curassow, Rufous Motmot, Yellow-Throated Toucan. It was nice to have breakfast offered, but it is very basic.

First of all, the entire resort and rooms are nothing short of amazing. Everything is meticulously maintained. The staff really goes out of their way to make sure even the smallest needs are met. The way each villa is set up offers complete privacy. Absolutely perfect for honeymooners. So many attractions are within minutes and La Fortuna is wonderful town to walk. I felt welcome in Costa Rica. Pura Vida!

Anthony, at the reception, was an excellent host. Informative, friendly, and knowledgeable. The girls serving a delicious breakfast were also really kind and helpful.
The dorms have this amazing separations, and you really have a lot of privacy, doesn't feel like a dorm at all.
