If you're looking for a cheap place to stay close to the airport for one night, this is cheap, close and good enough for one night. The staff is nice, only speaks Spanish though, so you may want to get your translation app out. There is a kitchen so you will get breakfast and dinner, although I'd recommend getting some food from somewhere else

it was just the last afternoon and night before our flight back home. we did have coffee in the lobby cafe, had lunch nearby (2 min by car) and in check out at 5 am went super smooth. we were within 7 minutes at the airport- where we dropped of the car. it is very close and easy access to the airport, which was our purpose to book this hotel.

rionegro is lovely. star suites, not so much. there were cracks the walls, daylight and noise coming through. the bed was wet. ceiling tiles askew. apparently, it has no address, so GPS to locate is worthless. and i have to ask, how could a business like booking. com even promote a property like this on their website?

I love San Nicolas for shopping. Rionegro is hectic, and growth is uncontrolled. The outskirts of Rionegro are incredible, and there are quiet spots if you get away from the city. You have to be careful about your belongings and crimes of opportunity.

I discovered this hotel four stays ago when I needed a place for 6 hours before a late night flight out of Colombia. I keep coming back whenever I can because it is quite, very clean, restful and economical. The family that owns and runs it is always super friendly and I enjoy talking with them. The airport shuttle is fast and reliable. This is a simple hotel, but perhaps the best value I have ever come across. It has become more than just a place to stay, but really a part of my frequent trips to Colombia that I look forward to.

We stayed just overnight in order to take an international flight the next day. We like to do this, even if the schedule flight allows us to drive from the nearest city Medellin.
The hotel Las Lomas is nice, clean and has the perfect location to relax before an international flight.
Amazing location. Your between Rio negro and El Carmen. A few minutes in each direction and your in the center of each town. Very relaxing stay. Beautiful hotel. Everything is brand new. The views of the gardens are all around you. Gated access makes for amazing security. Easy location to find, just across from the university of antioquia (east campus). The staff very friendly and helpful. We are definitely staying here again
Location couldn’t be better: there are many restaurants and pubs right in front of the hotel and mall and ATMs are within walking distance. You can reach the airport in 10-15 minutes with taxi (it cost me 30k and reception can call it for you). You can also get to Rionegro in 20 minutes with car.

A wonderful hotel with super lovely staff. The breakfast was perfect and the best I've had in Colombia. Hot water was of course also available.
I will be very happy to return to XY on my next visit to Colombia.
Not to forget the beautiful park that belongs to the hotel.

Highly recommend for airport Hotel stay. Lovely restaurant next door and also sells alcohol. Staff soooo friendly and helpful with use of translation on phone as we spoke no Spanish. Free transfer to airport. I will definitely stay here again. You can buy water, goodies etc at reception
The staff was very friendly and helpful. The hotel couldn't accept cards at the moment so they helped me pay with a bank transfer and helped me get a cab to go to the airport. The food was homemade, very cozy and tasty. I like the homey feel, the green around and relaxed vibe.
The hotel is truly a finca, meaning it is out of the way in a very quiet zone and in touch with nature. If you are looking for some silence and a place to rest and enjoy walks, this is the place. Also the service offered by the housekeeper will make you feel at home
David helped with logistics whenever I needed it. It was quiet and only a short ride from Rionegro. There was a decent restaurant across the street. Apartment was what I needed for the night before leaving.
They hotel grounds are beautiful and the whole property is manicured perfect. Must have a crew of gardeners.
