If you're looking for a cheap place to stay close to the airport for one night, this is cheap, close and good enough for one night. The staff is nice, only speaks Spanish though, so you may want to get your translation app out. There is a kitchen so you will get breakfast and dinner, although I'd recommend getting some food from somewhere else

it was just the last afternoon and night before our flight back home. we did have coffee in the lobby cafe, had lunch nearby (2 min by car) and in check out at 5 am went super smooth. we were within 7 minutes at the airport- where we dropped of the car. it is very close and easy access to the airport, which was our purpose to book this hotel.

rionegro is lovely. star suites, not so much. there were cracks the walls, daylight and noise coming through. the bed was wet. ceiling tiles askew. apparently, it has no address, so GPS to locate is worthless. and i have to ask, how could a business like booking. com even promote a property like this on their website?

I love San Nicolas for shopping. Rionegro is hectic, and growth is uncontrolled. The outskirts of Rionegro are incredible, and there are quiet spots if you get away from the city. You have to be careful about your belongings and crimes of opportunity.

I discovered this hotel four stays ago when I needed a place for 6 hours before a late night flight out of Colombia. I keep coming back whenever I can because it is quite, very clean, restful and economical. The family that owns and runs it is always super friendly and I enjoy talking with them. The airport shuttle is fast and reliable. This is a simple hotel, but perhaps the best value I have ever come across. It has become more than just a place to stay, but really a part of my frequent trips to Colombia that I look forward to.

We stayed just overnight in order to take an international flight the next day. We like to do this, even if the schedule flight allows us to drive from the nearest city Medellin.
The hotel Las Lomas is nice, clean and has the perfect location to relax before an international flight.
In Medellin, I stayed close to the regional airport at a nicer hotel and had a terrible time with noise pollution. On the other hand, I stayed at Hostal El Hangar for a night and slept like a baby. Great service and staff attention if you need to be super close to the airport for an early flight. It was super convenient, and met my expectations. I would definitely stay here again if the need ever arrises.
I arrived late at night after another confirmed hotel did not have vacancy. The girl at the front desk was amazing and very helpful. I was very stressed and tired after a long day of travel. The staff here were fantastic. Internet was great…..as a single female traveling alone, I felt very safe. Also, I liked that checkout was at 12:45 pm.
Location couldn’t be better: there are many restaurants and pubs right in front of the hotel and mall and ATMs are within walking distance. You can reach the airport in 10-15 minutes with taxi (it cost me 30k and reception can call it for you). You can also get to Rionegro in 20 minutes with car.
Staff is attentive.
This is an amazing place to stay, a true hacienda converted into a hotel set in substantial grounds. The building is full of interesting things, almost like a museum. The owner arranged a middle of the night taxi to the airport (35,000 COP) and provided a light evening meal for two (50,000 COP).
The customer service was exceptional, got picked up from the airport very late as our flight landed at midnight.
Very clean, convenient and got helped with any enquiries. Really enjoyed our stay at Hotel Isak

Would not stay longer than 1 or 2 nights. It's a basic transit hotel.
Terrible, there was NO FOOD! NO CABLE! NO INTERBETVIN THE ROOMS! NO DRINKABLE WATER! The only good thing was the receptionist nothing else. How can you have a hotel without food or water.
I enjoyed the stay in the hotel . I was a little suspicious after reading some feedbacks , but the room was clean , confarable and quite !! You can easily stay there for some nights .
The hotel reminds of a Spanish villa. It is spectacular in Avery way. From the staff, amazing breakfast and accomodations it was far more than our expectations. I will come back.
