Everything, it’s difficult to choose something. Starting from the accommodation, you could see the care they put on building each cabin. The Colibrì cabin has stunning views on the river and the surrounding forest. Waking up listening to the sound of the river and the birds is unique. Pablo and Melissa welcomed us warmly in their hacienda, speaking about Colombia, its nature, its people and its food in a passionate way. We did the permaculture tour with Pablo who walked us through every sector of their farm speaking in details about native plants and their future plan to expand the farm and you could feel his passion about preserving indigenous plants and protecting the environment. Also dinner and breakfast were cooked with love with super local products. In addition Pijao is really a gem, away from touristy places. It’s a pity we spent only two nights there. If you have a chance, book your stay here and you wouldn’t be disappointed!

We were SO SAD we only stayed there for one night! Definitely an amazing place to come back to. The hosts are amazing people, so caring and thoughtful! The place is absolutely stunning (btw they have built and renovated most of it themselves!!), we slept so well and the bed was very comfortable. Very fair price, and the food was great as well!

Loved everything about this place! The owners, Melissa & Pablo, are such incredible hosts and you can tell they created this space with so much attention to detail. I felt at home here. I literally slept 12 hours the first night! Breakfast and dinners were generous and delicious! And the herbal teas from their garden were magical 💫 I loved the fact that it was a 10min walk uphill from the church. This made the views even better! The river was just a few min away from the Finca. I will definitely come back here! 😍

We spent three days at Flora del Rio and we had a wonderful, relaxing time. We stayed in the cabaña, and enjoyed the plants, the birds, the river. Pablo and Melissa have made this place into a little paradise. We brought our mountainbikes and based on their recommendations we made some really nice trips in the surroundings of pijao. We also liked the food, breakfast in the morning and home-made pizza at night.

One of the most memorable places I have ever stayed, this is a real gem. The location is sublime and the property itself is idyllic. The hosts are incredibly nice and welcoming and the area is fabulous for exploring. Wish we had stayed longer.
