The parks are absolutely gorgeous. My favorite place was Tianmen mountain. I was here for a week and unfortunately it rained almost every day. The places are really beautiful, but this place is EXTREMELY touristy. A lot of the places/areas (especially the glass bridge) felt like what I would describe as “Nature’s Disneyland.” You get to see beautiful sites, but from the fenced pathway that you’re on. Having to pay a bunch of money for every place also takes away the magic a bit. It’s also incredibly hard to get pictures without other people in them. And then there’s the “queues.” You will not be alone. I would still recommend going, but if your goal is to go somewhere peaceful, and to escape to nature this is not the place for that.

I was here for one and a half days only. I came here on a high speed train from Changsha, it took only 2 hours. First day I spend the evening at Baofeng lake, it’s was really beautiful, and costs 110 ¥. You will have a transportation from the gates to this lake and then a boat trip around lake. Such a nice view!!! Next day I had a hiking in the national park. I was walking really fast but still had enough time to take pictures everywhere so I can see all the spots in one day. I started from elevator and then went to the top of the tyanzi mountain and walked down it. And then I went to the oxygen square and had a cable up to the mountain.

The shop owner's English is particularly good, which is not easy in China. She will explain the map to us very carefully. Breakfast is very rich, and I will recommend it to my friends. The only downside is that the restaurants recommended by the shop owner are all in Chinese style, with affordable prices but very spicy and not delicious

Very nice landscape - impressive mountains - Tian Shan and the park. Verry Chinese organization for millions of tourists. Limited space for individual "advanture". I intendet to cycle to the Tian Shan mountain, but this was not permitted and secured by a guard. Nevertheless a interesting place.

Walk on the glass brigde + VR + Zipline
Before I going out the building to Glassbridge I book ticket for Bungee Jump 260m. It's the highest bungee point in the world now (20/1/2024) amazing expirence of mind. I can see around the canyon, VR is woderful , Zipline is Safe and bueatiful sight seeing, then I slide my body down to lower floor, it was fun like I'm back to be teenage. there is many activities. but if you can walk out after 17:00 you should book taxi to pick up you back to downtown.
Tianmen Mountain was bueatiful , but last time was heavy snow so I can't see the view from top of the mountain. in my 3rd time to travel this place. March - April is the best time to visit.
I had an incredible stay here, it was perfect for my visit to Zhangjiajie! The place is in a great location to be able to access the National Park and the Glass Bridge Grand Canyon nearby. The rooms are comfortable, spacious and contain everything you need. The neighbourhood was quiet and was very safe. Our host, Rebecca, is very welcoming and makes you feel right at home. She helped us with so much, such as booking tickets, suggesting an itinerary and providing tips, arranging transportation and getting breakfast, and goes above and beyond!
Very cute little hotel close to the Zhangjiajie National Forest Park south entrance. Our room was very big, and the view was amazing! The staff was so kind, cooked amazing dinner and took time to sit and talk with us over a snack and a cup of tea or coffee. They arranged transport to and from the hotel and booked tickets to the park for us and also drove us to the entrance and picked us up after we were done exploring. The hotel responsible did not know much english but used a translator which worked very well.
The hotel has a great location as a start point for entrance to the Zhangjiajie park via southern gate. The receptionist Tim is an absolutely amazing guy(as well as the whole team), he speaks english very well and helps you with transport from the train station and also to plan your trip into the Zhangjiajie park and other locations nearby. We got a great spacious room with amazing mountain view from the terrace, breakfast was good, hotel is nice and clean.

If I could give an 11/10 for the staff I would. I was very confused as to how to get from Zhangjiajie West train station to the hotel. Two staff members came to pick me up. They also arranged an early check in, and helped me book a taxi to Wulingyuan and another one back to the station the next day. The room was beautiful and clean and the hotel was just a 20 minute drive away from Wulingyuan which is a cheap taxi trip.
My 1st visit to Zhang Jia Jie and the lady Carol has helped me so much giving me practical advice from the day I booked til the day I am there. She was so welcoming and warmth. Highly recommended this hotel as it is so near the East Gate of National Park. I enjoy new and clean hotel and this Yoba Boutique Hotel made my vacation an awesome one.
Location is perfect, across the road from the Tianmen Cable Car station ,close to Zhangjiajie central bus station where you can take shuttle bus to Wulingyuan and National forest park. The owner helped us with the information of the tourist attraction places and gave us good suggestions regarding our visits around Zhanjiajie.
Had an amazing time at this Guesthouse. Ming and his family were lovely hosts, the rooms were great and Ming was able to help a lot regarding tickets for the national park, routes to take and transportation. Can't recommend this place enough, if you're staying in Zhangjiajie you should definitely stay here
Absolutely gorgeous property in the middle of an extremely serene valley. The staff were super friendly and always doing their best to help whenever/where ever possible. On site meals were delicious and plenty of vegetarian friendly foods available. Staff gave lifts to/from the national park.
The guy on reception is very helpful, he has supported us in organising of our traveling in Zhangjiajie. The hotel has a good location, about 15 minutes walking to West Gates if National Park. Hotel is rather clear and you can find something to eat on breakfast for European travellers.
The host and staff was very friendly and helpful with planning the route about the National Park. Perfect modern design with classic room ,which is spacious and very warm. The staff was so kind to help get all the tickets we wanted for our travel.

Location is nice, Host is friendly and Hotel byitself is pretty nice. I had a problem the first night because my hotel room (even though it was non smoking) reeked of cigarettes. But they changed my room the first thing next day.
Isaac and his family were spectacular hosts, kindly gave us car rides to local places, delicious breakfasts and provided great information about the national park. Would recommend to anyone for a great stay in Zhangjiajie
The staffs were very helpful to everything you need for ur trip in Zhangjiajie. Prime Location, proximity to bus station, where is several minutes walk from Wulingyuan Park Entrance. I really enjoy the live music too.
