The room was bright, fairly small and very basic,the beds were made up with but clean with crisp white cotton linens. There was a table and chairs and large windows with a view of the entrance. The grounds were nice to walk around with stunning views of Lake Geneva and the alps. The restaurant offers 3 course evening meals, where guests can help themselves to various options, there was a nice selection to choose from.

This 4-star design hotel in the heart of the Lavaux UNESCO World Heritage Site overlooks the vineyards and Lake Geneva and is a 2-minute walk from the Epesses train station.

The room was nothing like what Booking.Com showed. I booked a double room which showed 2 beds put together which would have been perfect, but we got one small bed in the attic space where you could not stand up on the right side of the bed. Generally the room was on the cold side when we arrived, it was very small and cramped for 2 persons. We survived…. The staff were great and the restaurant good but pricey, breakfast 25CHF each!!

The hotel and room was a bit outdated but the staff were knowledgeable and extremely friendly and the room was (while small) was very clean. There was also a bus stop right outside that took you to the train station and lakeside which was awesome. For the price, I would definitely go back if travelling by myself.
