This hotel was very nice and all the staff members were very nice and helpful.
Despite of being so central and close to the train station, the hotel was very quiet.
The breakfast provided a good variation of food and was well filled up all the time. It was very good!

This was a fantastic stay! Loredana greeted us warmly at our late arrival as we were seated for dinner before our check-in to the hotel. The meal was magnificent sitting outside on a cool September evening in the beautiful courtyard. The location is a treasure. Just slightly off the beaten path from Ascona but my what a path! Hiking into the Maggiore Valle is truly magical as you feel like you have been dropped right into the middle of a fairy tale. The staff is warm, friendly and make you feel at home. We loved our stay here.
The hotel is only +/- 500 m away from the train station. The train takes you in 20 minutes to Locarno. The stay includes a pass for free use of all public transport which is really added value.
Loredana - speaking Italian, German, French and English - is one of the most friendly, helpful and lovely persons we ever came across.
As close as it can get to the ponte brolla station, which was very convenient for us to catch an early train in the morning, yet. Not at all loud, we were not bothered by the sound of trains passing. The rooms have an old-timey authentic feel which we loved, beds were comfortable.
Perfect location, and such nice people running the hotel! Nothing was too much trouble and were always smiling. It was my birthday and I received a lovely gift. Room was spacious and very clean. Breakfast delicious! 5 stars all round
The rustic is beautifully renovated and in a perfect location for climbing and eating -- it's the closest building to the Ponte Brolla climbing area and the excellent restaurants!
