We had our best time in this hotel. Location is attached to cable car. No need to carry your luggage. Which is really a pain in that height.

Murren offers easy access to all areas of the Lauterbrunnen valley, and a short walk to the Schilthorn gondola. Many hikes nearby, lots of restaurants and hotels. Gorgeous views of the mountains as well.

Mürren offers truly spectacular scenery and hiking trails. Just need to be careful that you are fit for whatever trail you decide to go on. We went on an "easy" one where it was all downhill. However, 500m down was not so easy on the knees!

I enjoyed the scenery. It was simply a magnificent town. The food was rich and organic tasting and the staff were very friendly to us. Transportation was just as smooth to and from here as the rest of the city locations we visited. The cable car ride was already included in the Swiss pass, which we had.
Favorite spot was looking out the Balcony of our Superior room; though you could get this view also from other places in the town.
We ate at the restaurant and the breakfast was also very good. The bread tasted freshly baked and I loved the cheese spread!.
Overall, this was a life changing experience for this City Girl all the way from Texas!.

The Swiss chateau themed homes and commercial buildings were beautiful. I loved the Swiss balconies and flower boxes that accented the theme. It was relaxing that the town was a "no car" zone and everyone walked to their destination. Many restaurants and bars offered outside seating, and the town's sport center was a 'must visit" for a swim or sit in the hot tub!

We loved the little town, but were only there one night. The location is great and so close to the tops of the mountains where the views are spectacular, but because of the fog and unusually cold weather at the time we were there we were unable to see anything. It would have been much better to have a few nights with flexibility to account for any bad weather.
Exceptional view at Hotel Edelweiss Superior and the room was very modern, spotlessly clean and classy. It was so spacious too. We didn't want to leave! We were warmly welcomed and the owners husband was a great host throughout our stay. Lots of delicious food at breakfast and the Bircher muesli was excellent! This place is a great location to explore the surrounding areas including visiting the Shiltorn. I also paraglided here which was an incredible experience. We would definitely stay here again.
It has to be the best location in the area. Accessed only by cable car/train. The town of Mürren is beautiful and this hotel has stunning views. Book the mountain view room if you can. We stayed in the village view room which had a big balcony. The breakfast was nice and the staff very helpful. The bathroom was spacious and clean.
Murren is such a beautiful place! The view of the town is spectacular and I really enjoyed it! The guy at the reception is very friendly and offered great suggestions on the hiking routes. The town is quiet at night and this hotel is not far from the cable car station to Schilthorn.
It’s an authentic old school hotel meaning you have a shared bathroom on the floor and a lounge downstairs. The games room with table tennis is a nice touch for rainy days. The beds are comfortable and the bathrooms close by. The breakfast is generous.
Frau Vogt made sure that we were happy, even arranging two separate bookings to be merged into one so we did not have to change rooms in the middle of our stay. The hotel is close to the train station.
