The location is fantastic, a few minutes by foot to the train station, a few minutes to the lake and a short walk to the Piazza Grande and center of town. The hosts are welcoming, helpful and are fluent in several languages. The weather was good most mornings and we could enjoy the delicious breakfast outside in the lovely garden. The rooms are small but comfortable and modern.

I stayed for almost 3 weeks and it was a perfect base for my travels all over Ticino. Just a few minutes walk down to the train station and right on one of the main bus lines (#1). It's also close to a few supermarkets (Minusio Piazza) as well as the Piazza Grande and main sights of Locarno.
The apartment is clean, spacious and has good airflow and lots of windows. The balcony is perfect to relax after a long day walking around.
As a solo female traveller, I felt safe in the neighborhood, building and apartment.The few times I did see neighbors, they were always friendly.
Both Daniel and Mr M.were very responsive and friendly in their dealings with me. Everything was pretty straightforward so I didn't need much.
I had a great time, and would recommend this accommodation, and I also hope to come back again sometime.

Great location a short walk from the lake and all the interesting places of Locarno. Accommodation in a villa in a perfectly equipped apartment. Even though the villa is right next to the train station, there is no noise when the windows are closed. A great advantage is the private parking. Great communication with the landlord

The apartment no. 5 is very new, very quiet and clean. Fixtures and fittings are high quality. The location is excellent, especially when arriving by train.

Probably the best place to explore the Ticino area. There are many sights in Lucarno and others are within 30 minutes by car (Bellinzona, Ascona, Isole di Brissago, Valle Verzasca). Those who like the Alps are 50 minutes away by cable car to Robieia, where they can spend the whole day in the area of high mountain lakes. It is definitely a good idea to visit the Italian town of Cannobio to enjoy the atmosphere of Italy, including real Italian pizza.

The entire area around Lago Maggiore is full of things to explore. Locarno is a nice town. Italy is not far away. It's overall the classical Swiss mix of Mountain and lake and an astonishing beauty! It's easy to go around and as usual in Suisse, it's very safe!
