Modern hotel and rooms, clean and nice, really comfortable beds. Beautiful restaurant next to the hotel with a nice terrace and good food. Check-in was easy to do and everything was dog friendly. Only few minutes from the highway and free parking.

I was recommended this hotel by a relative who lives locally. The bedroom I stayed in was a good size, clean and the beds were very comfortable. The breakfast was small but perfectly adequate. We ate at the hotel on one evening and the food was great. Great quality, very tasty and good portion sizes. The staff I encountered were all lovely and very helpful. I would happily return,

I have stayed previously at the hotel, it is close to relatives. The hotel operates a 'self-service' check in which is easy and straight forward. My room was a compact single room with a single bed. There was a very small shower room with loo and the sink was in the bedroom. The room was small but adequate. It appeared clean and well maintained, however, the bin had not been emptied from the previous occupant, which was a little off-putting. I arrived on a Friday evening and didn't see any member of staff throughout my three night stay, so the bin remained full.
On my previous visit, a self-service breakfast was included but this has now been replaced by a coffee and one croissant, which is a bit sparce!
Overall a clean and convenient central location for visiting Altstatten.

Room was clean, large and met your basic needs. Reception staff spoke English. Breakfast was really nice. Near by was a lovely family neighbourhood, had lovely ice cream place, places to eat. Easy access to train station, supermarket.
