The kitchen is well equiped. The bathroom is also OK. The matrace is very good: hard enough to support the back. The environment is quiet, no noice from the street. It was very good that they confirmed my reservation in few minutes even in a late hour.
You need to know Italian to feel good overthere. Some Italian restaurants are great. Expensive as everywhere in Switzerland, but no so as in Zurich or Geneve. Old town is nice. you may see everything within a day.

I mostly stayed in my room so I can't speak much about the city. Everyone I met was friendly and helpful despite my lack of Italian fluency. Reminds me of many small cities around the world, the places where the residents are personal. One of the greater joys of travel.
I travelled by motorbike with my wife and stayed the night in the hotel.
There was free parking just in front of it.
We took the option that included dinner and breakfast. I think it was worth it as we had some delicious pasta the night we got there, and the breakfast the next morning was enough.
The room seems to have been recently renovated, and it had enough space.
I saw there was a bus stop just in front, so good for travellers without their own transport.
As it was out of season, I think the value for money was great.
Superb hotel and very clean. Location is nice to connect other places as we were able to visit many places in Ticino. Amazing staffs and really professionals always ready to support. They upgraded our room to a more spacious room because we have kids at no extra cost. That was really supportive and made the kids had so much fun. If you love shopping, Fox town is just beside the hotel, so comfortable to shop. Really an excellent hotel and I will definitely score them high with strong recommendation.
We are in love with this B&B. The old house with its stones and chimneys is adorable. The style and atmosphere is just wonderful. The service is so great. Everybody is so friendly and nice. The breakfast was better than at a five star hotel, cause it was made with love and regional selfmade products.
And the landscape with its pittoresque architecture looks like a movie set. 😍😍😍
We really enjoyed our stay at Bed and Breakfest Chiarina. It is situated in a lovely village in a beautiful valley close to Mendrisio. The facilities are recently renovated and are very comfortable. The host, Richi prepared an amazing breakfest with local ingredients every morning. He went above and beyond with advice on actitivities and helping out wherever he could.
Nice, modern apartment, just as good as one might expect from a new place in Switzerland. The place was perfectly clean when I arrived. The train station and a couple of supermarkets are in walking distance. Getting to the highway by car isn't too far either.
Upon arrival the accommodation was not ready. Furthermore there was no one there to help us. We had to communicate via messages using google translate. The end of the story was we had to book a hotel nearby at extra costs!
Everything, bedroom very clean and no bad smell, bed comfortable, bathroom clean and no bad smell ,breakfast was ok, car parking was safe. Nice view overlooking the mountains, near to Foxtown shopping mall. It's great!!!

The location is excellent, particularly if you plan on doing a lot of shopping. The hotel is conveniently located within walking distance of the shopping center. The staff were multilingual and efficient.
