It is an affordable hotel, the room is tight but comfortable and clean. We also liked that the television supported streaming 😁, worked great!

I have stayed here before and the biggest advantage of this hotel is the location next to the funicular to the railway station. But it is also perfectly located in the center of Lugano's old town.
They have rooms with 3 beds which was perfect for this stay.

We had a fantastic stay, myself, my wife and our 3 dogs (two Labrador’s and a Great Dane cross Saint Bernard). Only had to pay 100chf for the dogs in total for the night. They had also left out 3 dog beds big enough for all our dogs and a little treat bag for each of them, they were incredibly accommodating. For dog owners it’s a perfect hotel to stay at.

Take the cable cart to the top of the hill - St.
Take the cable cart to the top of the hill - St. Salvatore and if you have good weather - there awaits you and this is not an exaggeration by any means - one of the most amazing views I have ever seen in my life.
Also we took a boat ride along the lake, which without any discount is about 40CHF for 2 hours ride, which is also very nice. There is a half tax discount if you have it for Switzerland. Miniature museum is nice as well.
Lugano over all I think will stay in my heart :)

2 nights would have been sufficient for us. We took a day trip to Bellinzona and visited most of the popular attractions and had time to spare.
We are not shoppers or people who like to hang out next to a pool and relax. If you are that type of person, the lake is beautiful and the shopping
options are abundant.

Lugano is beautiful! Walking by the lake, sitting by it in chairs provided for free to the public, taking a boat ride, riding the funicular up to the mountain to see the views, all great! City bus transportation excellent.
Beautifully renovated old-style hotel in perfect location with beautiful views across the Lugano Lake. Our room was on the 3rd floor and had its own balcony with table and 2 chairs. The boat to other Swiss towns, such as Gandria, left from across the street. Everything, meaning restaurants, shopping, old churches etc was in walking distance.
The room and bathroom was modern and updated. The breakfast room large and packed with delicious foods (nothing warm).
Super nice and helpful people at reception desk and in breakfast room.
I booked 2 standard rooms for myself and my family. The rooms were not very big but were full of facilities. Even if I can't operate the Nespresso machine), I enjoyed my 1 night stay at the Novotel. And BIG applause go to the breakfast itself and the breakfast area. The variety of products you would expect only from 5-star hotels, wide area.
Very easy access from the central station to the hotel and from the hotel to the city centre. I will definitely choose Novotel for my next trip to Lugano. Maybe even just for breakfast :)
SLNH aka Hotel Nassa is well situated in city centre with a Lakeside frontage. From outside the train station Lugano Stazione, there's bus taking U to bus stop outside Hotel Nassa or like Us, took the Funicular(free) down n walked thru the City Centre/ Old Town via Via Nassa to the hotel.
Hotel's location is most convenient to get to all attractions either by walks or buses, which are also free. Hotel's very clean n front office services were excellent n not forgetting the buffet breakfast n the lovely serving Lady.
The staff and the owner of the hotel are very helpful and they upgrade the room once they know that the Wifi is not good in our reserved room.
The location in Paradiso is highly appreciated. The location is very close to the train station. It saves time and money to go to different important places like Monte San Salvatore, Swissmanutour, lake toures,....
The room was comfortable with a perfect balcony but the pillows has to be less soft.
When I will go back to lugano I will reserve again a room in this hotel.
It's a little old hotel, your expectations should be in proportion to this statement. Yet, it's spotless clean, in a perfect position for visiting Lugano, quiet and comfortable: comfi and large bed even in a single room, good matrass (mid-soft).
It's old style, and not for you if you are an IG traveller. If you on the other hand are a conscious traveller, please support this kind of establisments! They are slowly disappearring and that's not good for the business.
We have the best room nice balcony view with alps mountains and lake. We enjoy so much the free mini bar & unlimited delicious breakfast.All staff we encounter are very professional and nice.They provided daily housekeeping and its very clean .The bus stop is in front or back at the hotel going to Lugano Train Station. 5 mins walk to the lake. Wifi is okay, everyday they replenish the mini bar and toiletries . Room temperature has aircondistioning .
Everything was fabulous, we loved the old-world charm of the hotel, the welcome was warm, and I think they discreetly upgraded us to one of the best rooms. Breakfast was excellent, and the position of the hotel is perhaps the best in Lugano, the view from the room and the breakfast area is wonderful. I hope the family will continue to maintain this historic and delightful hotel.

Also all the staff is very good trained and does an excellent job. We also already stayed in several other 4 and 5 start hotels in Ticino, compared to the other option the price/ value ratio is here great!

Good breakfast and staff was nice and ready to fulfill our requests.deapite my negative notes we had a good stay and Lugano is very pretty, clean and deserve visiting (but be prepared for everything to be overpriced!!). The hotel is a good choice for a short stay to visit the downtown area and close to the city park as well.
Room was very clean and had a/c which was a welcomed bonus. The hotel does offer a breakfast option. They also provide some discounts for other restaurants in the area. It was an easy walk from the train station in Lugano (all down hill). The location was perfect as it was walking distance to everything you needed including the lake.
We were highly inspired to see how Katia has served the visitors at the breakfast, asking for coffee, smiling, greeting and she knew where we come from and at which room we stay.

The location is perfect. Just minutes away from Coop and Migros Supermarket. It is possible to walk to downtown and to the Lago di Lugano. It is a spacious apartment that suited really a family of four. The kitchen has enough utensils to cook a simple meal. The price was way better than most of the good hotels in town.
The location was good. There was a paid parking facility at the hotel so it was convenient. Staff was nice, efficient and helpful. The room was ok, new bed, new shower although the total size of the room was a bit too small but I think it is like this for hotels in Switzerland.

This was our second stay at the Park Hotel. We liked the room and its location, especially the short and easy approach to and from Lugano station. The staff were out of this world, so courteous and helpful, both restaurant/breakfast room and reception.
