The hotel is nicely maintained despite being an old building. Shout out to the staffs especially MARIE who has been very friendly, helpful and always have a smile on her face. Big thank you to MARGARET for being so concerned and caring when she noticed by husband was limping after he injured his ankle. She gave him a walking stick which help him continue with our holiday. Very greatful for the beautiful and kind staff of this hotel.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Apartment Lauberhorn. The unit was easy to find, and the check-in process was very smooth. The views of the Lauterbrunnen Valley were just amazing and you would be hard pressed to find better accommodations with the views we had from this unit. This unit had its own covered carport space so we never had to find or pay for a place to park. We had a car but if you are not driving, there is a very convenient bus stop in front of the complex. The bathroom was very clean. The shower was huge and worked well. Every appliance in this unit worked well. We were pleased that it was easy to operate the dishwasher, washing machine and dryer in the unit without needing an instruction manual. Most clothes washers and dryers in Europe work very poorly. This is the first place in many places we stayed where the clothes washer and dryer were fantastic! It took very little effort to wash and dry all our clothes. This is a beautiful place and the host was great and responsive! We would definitely look to stay here again if we return to this area again someday!

Amazing view, great appartment spacious and plesant, superb location. I was afraid about lack of AC, especially that we stayed during a heat wave of above 30 degrees, but the appartment was cool and at night the temp outside was bearable so you can sleep with open window and not be too hot.

Loved this place! It’s conveniently located right at a bus stop so it’s easy to bring luggage, but it’s only a short 15-20 min walk to the station. The flat itself is very clean, spacious and comfortable, and has gorgeous views of the cliffs and valley. It was perfect to return to after a day of adventuring!

Gorgeous little village, very accessible, and a good base to explore the surrunding places like Wengen, Murren, Jungfrau, etc.
BEWARE that everything closes early!!! Super market shuts at 6:00 pm, and all restaurants shut down at 9 pm. The only place that will serve you after 8:00 pm is Horton Pub, which is very good.

Expensive restaurant food but Coop near the train station is an excellent option.
The restaurant staffs near Staubbach falls/ camping ground were not friendly and a lot of flying black flies inside the restaurants, the reason we left the restaurant. They put us near the flies trapper.
Toilet near the Lauterbrunnen train station is free.

Lauterbrunnen was a good base to explore the area. It is well connected by train or gondola, and by hiking paths to other towns in the area. It was not as big as Grindelwald but this made for a very peaceful stay.

Great place to stay the night if you’re traveling between places. Just a charming little village! If you decide to stay the evening, the waterfall is lit up and the town is very quiet. The food is expensive here, but good. Just know that if you’re eating in town. The waterfall is just stellar.

Magnificent views from every angle.
Magnificent views from every angle. Plenty to see and do in this area. Found a great restaurant at the caravan park. We went two nights in a row, make sure you book. The Chef made the difference when experiencing Swiss cuisine. Walk, hire a bike or take a train it's easy to get around and to the main attractions. eg.Jungfraujoch.
Within sight of the Staubbach Falls, the hotel is perfectly situated for exploring the Lauterbrunnen valley. It is quintessentially Swiss in its style with clean and spacious rooms. Breakfast was plentiful and the 24hr free coffee and tea was a nice touch. On a side note if you are a Bond OHMSS fan for which Lauterbrunnen was a key location the hotel is in scenes where Bond and Tracey are trying to evade Blofelds henchmen, which is a nice extra
Location, room was spacious, beds were comfy. Very friendly staff. Breakfast was so good with loads of options. They provided us everything we needed. And very clean place. View from room was unbelievable. The owner of this hotel is a very friendly guy. I stayed in a few hotels recently in UK, FRANCE, AND Switzerland but this is the best place.
The Valley Hostel is perfectly located in the center Lauterbrunnen. The accommodation is basic but functional. You have to make your own bed but it is a good measure to keep prices low.
The view from the balcony is breathtaking!
It is also very helpful that the hostel has its own carpark.
Amazing location just facing the waterfall. Room is cozy with all necessary inside. Shared bathroom but always available). Free parking. I liked everything with no exception. I definitely recommend this place for solo travelers to see unique part of waterfall valley in Switzerland.
Wonderful, cozy little hotel in the center of Lauterbrunnen! We had a great room with an exceptional view on the waterfall. The restaurant is great too and the staff is friendly, helpful and smily ! We will come back for sure !
