Me and my husband booked this same hotel back in 2013 with bed and breakfast offer deal. This time we as a family booked this same hotel because of location and cleanliness and quiet away from town noise the scenic views are just beyond imagination. The view from the balcony was fantastic. They ordered gluten free bread rolls for breakfast especially for me and the other food was good to either plenty of options. The bus stop is right outside their door. The bed was comfortable and water pressure very good. Easily accessible by bus (Postauto 101) from Interlaken and 10min connection to Beatenberg cable car station.

we have stayed in Beatenberg many times over the last 30years, it is a beautiful place to stay, unfortunately our last stay was dreadful due to the hotel, we had booked for a week, we only stayed the one night then booked a hotel in Interlaken as it was so bad

A quiet neighbourhood not far from the sites around the Interlaken area. Unbeatable views, and a lovely drive. With the tourist tax, our hotel gave us free public tickets and access to the local pool - fantastic!

They don’t have hotel staff to help with luggage, to get to the room you have to use 2 elevators and stairs. This was very difficult esp with multiple luggage’s and children. When I requested for help they were not helpful and rather rude.

Breakfast was very good, and also we had dinner twice at the restaurant and food was great.
The hotel has several floors, and even though they have elevators, you still have to take the stairs to go to some places, and they do not have ramps in the stairs, which make it very complicated because we were traveling with our baby and to carry the stroller through all the stairs wasn't good.
Service was regular to bad, we didn't find the staff to be very friendly. We had an issue with a waiter at the restaurant.
When we arrived the room wasn't clean, we found pieces of glass on the floor, when we told them they didn't seem to care much, also they didn't clean our room.
They don't have room service, if you want to order something for the restaurant my husband had to go directly and bring everything by himself, and then again, it was quite long to take 2 elevators and 3 stairs to get from our room to the restaurant.
WIFI didn't work well.

Beatenburg it's self is quite small and very quiet.There are some cafe's and restaurants but not a lot going on.For more facilities you have to travel down to interlaken which is no problem at all.

The location is great, the view of the lake breathtaking. The village seems a bit in need of investment, but under deep snow it still looks just great.
If you have kids don´t forget to check the local toys/stationary/bookshop. There is a very nice "kugelbahn" - marble run in the shopping window.
There is a very nice slope in the village for sledding, great for easy afternoon with kids.
The space seems a bit squeezed though, there is not much space next to the road for walking, you always have to keep the kids under supervision. And a nice cafeteria would be welcome.

The location was so gorgeous, just a 20 minute bus ride from Interlaken but felt so close to nature. The apartment was simple but had everything we needed, and the view was breathtaking. The best part by far though was the host, Sandra, who really went out of her way to make our stay comfortable and to help us get the most out of our trip. We ended up extending our stay by one day because we enjoyed it so much.
The property is located high in Beatenberg with a view to the Swiss Allps just 15 min from Interlaken. The scenery on way down to interlaken looks like it was taken from a Walt Disney movie. The apartment has amazing view and it is very comfortable and equipped. It has a car garage and all the facilities you’ll need. The communication with the owner is very good.
I was thoroughly impressed by the exceptional hospitality extended by the hotel owners. The culinary experience surpassed my expectations, with both breakfast and dinner offering an array of delicious delights. Additionally, the panoramic view from my room was simply breathtaking, adding to the overall magnificence of my stay.
We had an amazing time at Hotel Sterne! Ana and Vlad were the most amazing and accommodating hosts who truly made our stay. The weather was cold and rainy our whole trip however Ana and Vlad were always giving us updates on the best activities to do in the rain and how to make the most of our trip!
well equipped apt with balcony, beautiful views, clean, very friendly owners with good advise and ample maps for things to do in the surroundings. beatenberg is a village 10’ from Interlaken, away from busy touristic areas but nearby enough to reach all the nearby attractions easily

The room was clean with comfortable bed and had everything we needed and more. The view is just wow, the best view we saw through all the vacation.

Beautiful location, 20 mins from Interlaken West by bus. Amazing view on lake and mountains. In few minutes on paths and slopes. Cozy and old fashioned rooms, full equipped. The staff is extremely kind and makes you feel really part of the family.
Everything was amazing. The hotel has a breathtaking view and the owners are amazing! You feel like you're in your friend's house with the best care. The breakfast is also amazing! I highly recommend you to stay there.
