It was great location with view of lake, quiet and serene must say. Host were pretty hospitable and they arranged early check-in to accommodate us as we were with family with young kids.

The rooms were extremely comfortable. Everywhere really clean. Great view of mountain & lake. Very dog friendly. Food in restaurant was well presented and very tasty. Breakfast was plentiful and great choice.

A quiet neighbourhood not far from the sites around the Interlaken area. Unbeatable views, and a lovely drive. With the tourist tax, our hotel gave us free public tickets and access to the local pool - fantastic!

They don’t have hotel staff to help with luggage, to get to the room you have to use 2 elevators and stairs. This was very difficult esp with multiple luggage’s and children. When I requested for help they were not helpful and rather rude.

Breakfast was very good, and also we had dinner twice at the restaurant and food was great.
The hotel has several floors, and even though they have elevators, you still have to take the stairs to go to some places, and they do not have ramps in the stairs, which make it very complicated because we were traveling with our baby and to carry the stroller through all the stairs wasn't good.
Service was regular to bad, we didn't find the staff to be very friendly. We had an issue with a waiter at the restaurant.
When we arrived the room wasn't clean, we found pieces of glass on the floor, when we told them they didn't seem to care much, also they didn't clean our room.
They don't have room service, if you want to order something for the restaurant my husband had to go directly and bring everything by himself, and then again, it was quite long to take 2 elevators and 3 stairs to get from our room to the restaurant.
WIFI didn't work well.

The location is great, the view of the lake breathtaking. The village seems a bit in need of investment, but under deep snow it still looks just great.
If you have kids don´t forget to check the local toys/stationary/bookshop. There is a very nice "kugelbahn" - marble run in the shopping window.
There is a very nice slope in the village for sledding, great for easy afternoon with kids.
The space seems a bit squeezed though, there is not much space next to the road for walking, you always have to keep the kids under supervision. And a nice cafeteria would be welcome.

It is very beautiful and quite place . Also , it is cooler comparing to Interlaken. Sceneries and views are spectacular as it is high comparing to other land .public transportation services are really great .
The road to Beatenberg is a bit hard and takes time to go to Interlaken or to come back .
Dani and Linda have given us above and beyond hospitality and it felt like it was HOME!
I intentionally booked a hotel outside of Interlaken for a reason and the Fassbind Hotel is truly paradise...
It was my 40th birthday and I spent it with "family"
Chef Dani made me a really special birthday cake and we celebrated it al fresco ~ overlooking the mountains and the beautiful lake - it was truly a birthday to remember!
We will definitely come back, next time with more family :)
Good hotel, good location, free parking, breakfast buffet is good, but there are not many choices, good staff, especially the receptionist Susanna, the best receptionist I have seen during my travels around the world, very faintly, and she receives guests in the best way, in addition to making things easier I give her Rating 10/10, followed by the Indian employee 7/10. As for the rest of the reception staff they are evaluated not more than 5 percent and there is no comfort at all

Beatenberg is a beautiful village, you are around 4000ft high, it's quiet and peaceful and about 25m by bus to Interlaken.
Vlad is welcoming and knowledgeable and helpful when needed.
Apartment was spacious, clean, and beds comfortable
Free bus transport in Interlaken, ask for pass from Vlad. Bus frequency is something to be aware of, one bus every hour, apart from between 1130-1530 where it is once every 30 minutes.
Everything was easy, explained in detail and our stay was wonderful. Very convenient, breathtaking location. The proximity to a big hotel while enjoying fully equipped apartment was a great feature. We found everything we needed and more! Books, games, condiments, coffee, hiking sticks, binoculars, a very well documented guest book with lots of activities and dining options. Very thoughtful hosts!
High high above the clouds there is a charming and very special hotel. The hotel owners are so nice and welcome you warmly. The room is large and very clean and the view from the room is outstanding. Breakfast is very good and we also had dinner which was very tasty. The hotel is located 10 kilometers up the mountain, whoever is booking the hotel should know this.
It locates not far from the Interlaken West Station，but has a super amazing lakeview and mountain view. All the staffs there are nice, and you can easily feel the owner’s passion for their business and the hotel. The room is clean and cozy, people can relax themselves as soon as they checked in. Besides, we really enjoy the dinner at the restaurant.
This is our second time booking this apartment. The first time was in February when we also made use of the fireplace. The accommodation is fantastic, pet friendly easy to access and at close distance to Interlaken. We also love the kitchen very convenient and well equipped. We will definitely book it again.
The location of the hotel was amazing. The staff was amazing. We couldn't have Breakfast so the staff packed it the previous day and kept in the fridge , this was quite good. i loved the view from Balcony and the cleanliness was top notch. highly recommended.
Beautiful location, 20 mins from Interlaken West by bus. Amazing view on lake and mountains. In few minutes on paths and slopes. Cozy and old fashioned rooms, full equipped. The staff is extremely kind and makes you feel really part of the family.

This is a rather good option in the region, good proximity to Interlaken, lifts and even lake with a ferry ride options. We have been to this hotel 3 times already and will be coming back (since there are not so many good options around).
Great apartment for a dream holidays in Interlaken area. The view from the balcony is just amazing. The apartment is fully equipped for a family. Having access to the hotel facilities swimming pool and sauna is a great +.
