This is a great find. The people who run it are so nice and the facilities are super clean. And the price is amazing. It is a motel and kinda retro but I would stay again in a heartbeat.

Very nice, even during the winter months if you are okay with cooler temperatures, grey skies and rainy weather. The beach and town areas are clean. Various wildlife and sea life can be viewed with binoculars with lots of trails and points of interest being nearby or a short drive away. Qualicum area is nice to visit during the winter as the shoulder season is not busy with tourists.

This is a nice village that still has a small town feel.
This is a nice village that still has a small town feel. Lots of retirees. A nice local market that runs year round. Beautiful views out to the ocean. Great walking town, as the road is not steep up to the actual town from the beach.

We like QB very much!
We like QB very much! It is the perfect vacation place - small enough to be quaint, but big enough to have everything you want!
Nice places to eat, beautiful downtown, beach, trails, museum, and a golf course.

Stayed overnight only.
Stayed overnight only. Didn’t have time to explore and discover Qualicum Beach. Our stay at the Sand Pebbles Inn was great. Old hotel and outdated room with microwave, small fridge, big table and chairs, big tv, small renovated bathroom with great big shower, nicely folded and presented towels, nice shower toiletry, great big balcony. Fantastic views from our room. Would stay again.

Beautiful miles of beach, peaceful away from the main road that goes along the beach (cars, motorcycles, big trucks go by loudly 24/7). Small town easy to get around, quaint shops, nice cafes, good choice of restaurants (sushi esp). Very friendly people everywhere, all with a relaxed vibe. Not the place to party or for night-life but not a boring family/older vibe either. Grab a lounger, sit back, take a deep breath, smell the ocean and RELAX.

The rooms were very nice , but ..... we stayed on a sun and mon. Sun eve there were people there ,but after that. There was no one around. Couldn't get ice , or assistance.
Not what I was expecting for 300. Dollars a night.
Sorry. But could have an ice machine and a machine for snacks.
Thanks.
It was extremely clean and renovation made it fresh. Perfect place to rest your head. The lady in the office, was welcoming and so sweet.
Loved the little kitchen set up they had available.
Bed was very comfortable.
Nice size TV, coffee maker was great for morning coffee.
Air conditioning worked well.
Our car was parked outside of our room.
Walking distance to beach and little beach side restaurants.
City centre was a 5 minute drive away.
We felt safe and it was so wonderfully quiet.
Nestled away in the quiet of a beautiful forest, I felt peace and relaxation like no other. Having spent the day with the busyness of a full day in Parksville, it was well worth getting away to this “Cottage “. A large one bedroom suite that is fully equipped and it’s like you’re on your own. I would definitely go back there and one recommended highly to anybody in the Parksville Qualicum Beach area.
The location was what drew me to this hotel, it was right on the waters edge but to it is on the beach is wrong since there are no stairs to take you down. A long walk to the public access at the park. However, the beach was very nice once the tide was out. The sunsets are beautiful and still befuddles me as to how I watched the sun set on the east side of the island... The staff were very nice.
We loved being right on the beach with great views from our room! The room is spacious and had everything we needed, nice thoughtful touches. The property is really nice, we especially enjoyed the beach loungers on the shared deck.
Location is very good, with several restaurants within walking distance. We would stay here again!
Hans and Tanis are the hosts of this beautiful property and were as sweet, welcoming and helpful as 3 years ago. Qualicum Beach is a beautiful sea side village and the wonderful house of Hans and Tanis, with the beautiful garden provide an oasis of tranquility. We surely will come back. Thank you so much. You are special people.
The location was perfect for visiting this part of the coastline as well as being in close proximity to the village of Qualicum Beach.
We greatly enjoyed chatting with the hosts who gave us lots of useful local knowledge and tips on how to take advantage of all the things available close by.
The scenic view from our room and the hot tub on deck was amazing… it was nice we were able to cook our own meals and for those travelling light, being able to order breakfast, lunch and dinner could be a great option, based on the location of the property.
Crown Mansion Hotel is beautiful, historic and has lovely grounds in close proximity to the ocean.
The staff are welcoming and very professional.
We had dinner in their restaurant and it was sumptuous as always.
We look forward to returning.
We loved this place! The owner went out of his way to make sure we were comfortable. The place was quiet, clean, and had everything you needed for a nice holiday. The Kottage is not far from downtown Qualicum Beach. We will definitely stay again.
We loved this little hotel. The full kitchenette was well stocked. It was completely seperate from the bedroom which was a big perk.
Though an older building, it is recently renovated, comfortable beds, very clean. All around great stay.
This property was beautiful! I love the look of the hotel. The view was incredible, My favorite of any hotel I’ve stayed in! We saw whales surfacing as we woke up and it was just an overall lovely place to stay and wake up at
This hotel is a hidden gem on the waterfront in Qualicum. A bit rustic but immaculate, staff was wonderful and helpful. Absolutely great place to stay. From real wine glasses to deck chairs with a view, it was perfect!
Lovely hotel with good amenities which unfortunately we didn't have time to make use of as we stayed only one night. Close to attractive town of Qualicum Beach. Would recommend a longer stay.
There was no breakfast. We had a wonderful kitchen with everything we needed to make our own breakfast. On our way to the hotel we picked up some groceries so it worked out well.
