The people are friendly, there is lots of outdoor-type stuff to do either right there or nearby, wildlife and plants to look at, the lake, great coffee. I come here for the small-town feel and the wonderful people. I come to paddleboard, to walk, and to eat. I love that they have Dosa now (my favourite restaurant), and that it's not far to places like Oliver, OK Falls, and even Rock Creek or Keremeos. Osoyoos is beautiful, but it's also a great base.

If you are into wine, this is a great town.
If you are into wine, this is a great town. Lots of tasting rooms. Plus the District Wine Village is superb.
If you are into food, you will be disappointed. The town has no good food at all (with the possible exception of Wards at District Wine Village.) Bring your own food, and rent someplace with kitchen / grill facilities.

Lots of fun things to see and do in Osoyoos.
Lots of fun things to see and do in Osoyoos. Enjoy some wine tasting, fabulous meals, strolling through town or at the beaches. Apparently Osoyoos is famous for hot weather. Lots of neat shops that you would find in a beachy town.

I always love Osoyoos.
I always love Osoyoos. This time I spent a bit more time exploring Haynes Point and the small trail network into the ecologically sensitive area, where there are some platforms for watching/listening to birds etc. So beautiful.

Beautiful small-town.shops and some good restaurants.
Beautiful small-town.shops and some good restaurants. Lake Beaches are clean. Pricey local farmer's cherries due to bad weather, colder temperatures than the past years so the fruit trees didn't produce flowers to produce fruits. Was dissapointing that Some wineries are closed on Tuesday and Wednesday.
The location.
It was very central to restaurants parks etc.
The building itself is undergoing some improvements slowly. Our room was small and very basic.
The absolute best part is the waterfront area at the back of the motel. Lots of patio chairs and tables and loungers to enjoy the view....a dock and small sandy beach as well.
Our rooms were incredibly outdated, we could not believe we paid over $600 per night for
that low quality of room. Additionally, the exercise rooms are well below the standard of a Hyatt hotel.
We had been to Osoyoos before and wanted to stay near that location. The other hotels close by were out of our price range, so we chose Richter Pass for no other reason than its location.
